Which direction does the parade go?

If there are 2 parade times in one day, I believe that the Parade of Dreams goes one way in the afternoon and the other way in the evening. Does anyone know which is which? And how long does it last?

1st showing of a parade always goes from Small world up mainstreet toward Town Square. The second showing of a parade always goes up mainstree toward Small world. Very rare, but if there were 3 showings of the same parade in a day it would go back down mainstreet.

In DCA, block party bash goes from Sunshine Plaza to Paradise Pier, and Electrical parade goes from Paradise Pier to Sunshine Plaza.

I was at DL two weeks ago and the first parade started on main street and moved toward small world. We thought it was going to be the other way around because we were planning to go to DCA right after. We got a spot right where the parade started and were able to leave without waiting for the crowds to disperse.
