Which Dinner ADR to keep, in order to maximize riding time?

It's just me and my husband and we were lucky enough to snag two dinner reservations for BoG on April 8th, one for 7:40 pm and one for 9:25 pm. We don't care about seeing parades/fireworks; we just want to maximize our ride time when there aren't huge lines. We have a super late lunch (2:35 pm at CRT), so us being too hungry isn't really an issue. Anybody have any recommendations as to which we should keep, so that we can hit some of the big rides with short lines? Or can tell when the ride times really start dying down?

I would do the 7:40pm personally, since the lines die down the most after Wishes. I don't know when the park closes, but if its midnight you should have a few great hours of riding after dinner. If you do the latest ADR you will be at dinner during the time of the shortest lines. I will say though that restaurants are very quiet and peaceful at that later time. Last week we had a 9:15 ADR at Skipper Canteen after Wishes, and it was delightful. We did do a few rides afterwards, but didn't have that much time since the park closed at midnight. We have also eaten that late at BOG before and really enjoyed it. As a side note I would also request one of the side dining rooms at BOG (or Skipper Canteen for that matter) if you want a quieter experience.

Thanks everyone! The park closes at midnight, MSEP starts at 9, and then Wishes starts at 10, so I was leaning more towards the later reservation--do some rides during MSEP and then by the time Wishes is over, we'll be done with dinner. But I guess with the 7:40 reservation, we'll be done at 9--will MSEP and people getting spots for Wishes pull enough people away from the lines? (Sorry, I'm conflicted.... :D)

MSEP & Wishes really empty out the queues- it's one of the best times to ride. It's also really cool to ride things like Splash and BTMR while the fireworks are going! I think you'll be able to get more in by having the earlier meal but that's just me :)
