Any suggestions ads to which dining room to miss in order to go to Palo's? The last time we were aboard, the only reservation we could get was our first Animator's Pallette, so we missed seeing the show. I don't want to miss out on that again, but then again, I don't want to miss lobster either!

When we were on the Eastern in August, we had late seating and our rotation was LAPLAPL (Lumieres, Animator's Palate, and Parrot Cay) we did Palos on the 3rd night and missed PC.....Personally, I like L & AP the best so I didn't want to miss out on them ..... Andy

To help answer this question which is also my question, I really hope to know

1. if there are any shows during dinnier time in the restaurant.

2. if there is also "a change in color" in Animator's Pallette on the repeated Day (the 4th night).

Anyone can help?

The color change only happens on your 1st night in AP......Andy

IMHO,
I would miss Tritons for Palo's -- giving up one formal restaurant for another. I personally would not miss Parrot Cay. It was my family's favorite.

I gave up our 2nd night in Parrot Cay for Palo. I had a PTAP rotation. As long as you stand in line early enough - you should get the reservation you need. I beleive DCL opened reservations up around 12:45 - 1:00 pm on the 10/12 4 day wonder.

We gave up Parrot Cay for Palo's....just felt it was similar to Triton's, according to the menus that we read online.

However, there are some people out there who will "double dip"...they'll hit their assigned rotation either before or after Palo. We didn't do this...didn't wanna explode! :)

We also gave up Parrot Cay for Palo's! But, later wished we would of gave up the first night at Tritons. Our rotation was TAPPT. We asked our wonderful servers what restaurant they thought was the best and our server Ferhat from Turkey said his favorite was Tritons, but our assistant server Agus from Indonesia liked Parrot Cay the best! It is so hard to deceide.

I know people have asked why and I know people have posed a "please change", but I've never heard the reason that DCL forces you to do ressies for Palo in person. Can someone shed light and help the un-informed! Thanks.

We were on the 7 night western...I would miss ap easily.

As far as the lobster...on lobster night...lobster is also served at Palo...just a nicer version.

We are on the 4 day/night WONDER for Easter 2004:wave2:

When we board the boat, when will they tell us our eating rotation? And also- is it correct that we will have to double out with one restaurant?
I think that is how I understand this to happen, But I am not sure...
I am wanting to just eat at all three places and when it is time to eat at the same place twice, we can opt out to Palos that evening.
Also, does anyone know if the kids can stay at the 'lab' when we are doing our adult dinner?

They tell you your dining rotation as soon as you check in at the terminal! We had TAPPT. The first restaurant you eat at will also be the last restaurant you eat at! But, on the last night is the Master Chef night. This is when the chef adds extras to the menu and recommends those choices. At the end of the meal the Chef is introduced. Yes your child can stay in the lab while you have dinner at Palo. But, you might find that they want to stay at the lab all the time! We made our DS come to dinner with us one night (AP) and all he wanted to do is hurry and get back to the club! :earseek:

I thought about it when they first posted that but not Disney enough, especially since my Nickname isn't Disney.

Now if someone were to put a set of ears, priate hat or wings! Maybe, I would consider it!LOL
