MNSSHP vs. Star Wars vs Hea? Going oct 21-26. Which is the best experience, best view, worth it?

I'm sorry if this is posted elsewhere, I've searched but haven't found this exact question. Thanks!

I wouldn't do the MNSSHP dessert party. We did the MVMCP one and it was completely unnecessary as we could have easily found a good spot in the hub to see the fireworks. We did MNSSHP without the dessert party and found a great spot.

We've done both the Star Wars and HEA Plaza Garden party and, in terms of a show, I much prefer HEA. I also like the set-up a little better as the HEA party has chairs at the dessert party tables, whereas there are no chairs at the Star Wars party. The desserts are pretty much the same in terms of quality at both parties. When we go again in August, we will do the HEA party again but not the Star Wars one.

Our only complaint with the Star Wars party is lack of seating and table space. First, the table are stand up only--no seating. Not my favorite way to eat, even desserts! Secondly, they seem to sell more tickets than there are tables. We claimed a table by arriving a little early, and left some stuff on it to show it was occupied, but when we got back from the buffet line, the table had been poached. After discussing we shared the table, but six individuals sharing a 24" round table top is not too convenient. People were roaming around looking to snatch table space, and some were sitting on the floor.

Other than that, the viewing space was great and we enjoyed the evening.

I have to agree with this. After a full park day, the last thing we wanted to do was stand around a table; I mean we couldn't relax. We did this party two summers ago and there were many complaints about lack of seating then, so it its discouraging to hear that the seating issue is still ongoing. I don't know why they will not provide additional seating; must be some sort of 'Disney reasoning' behind this decision:confused3, who knows. We enjoyed the show; unfortunately it was a one and done for us.

Illuminations party for sure!!

I tried it for the 1st time this Jan. It was fantastic.

The seating was great, the bar options really good, savory items were fantastic (I filled up on the bread and cheese fondue) and the desert items were good. I am more of a savory person, so I enjoyed that aspect more.

I like FEA party best because:
1-Seating
2-Savory options
3-Bar selection
4-riding Frozen afterwards

I don't know if the people that complain assume that there's seating or just don't read the description on the party's web page where it states that "Seating is not available."

It's not that they will not provide seating, it's that they can't. The "Disney reasoning" is simply that there is no room. The current space allocated for the party will not accommodate the number of people required if chairs were provided.

As I stated, we attended this event during the first summer it was offered; summer of 2016 I believe. I did not purchase our tickets online. When I called Disney dinning to purchase the tickets, I was never informed that there would be no seating, had this been pointed out to me, I would not have attended this event. IMHO additional seating could be added to accommodate party guests at this location if they limited the amount of tickets sold for this event.

This fits in with everything else they’ve been doing. Disney is trying to squeeze every cent they can at the expense of guest satisfaction. They figured out if they didn’t supply chairs (because who doesn’t love eating standing up...and paying a lot of money for the privilege) they could squeeze in more people and make more money. And chairs cost money you know! They’re saving money and making more money. Watch out, in a few years guests will have to share plates...

Well, after the feedback I was all geared up for hea party, but another thread is saying it's not bookable. I'm not going until oct, so who knows.

Initially I didn't even consider frozen party because I haven't had a problem seeing illuminations before and I've never seen hea or the new Star Wars.
Anyone else have positive for negative for frozen party?

They could sell less tickets

As far as the party itself goes we LOVED the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam party, but there was also something really wonderful about laying down in the grass of the hub to wait for HEA.
