Which Deluxe resort would you choose to stay in with a 1 yo and 10 yo? Mainly for convenience?? I always said that I would love to stay in the contemporary, but a friend said it wasn't that great--she wasn't in the tower, though! Any help I would appreciate!

When we went with our 1 yr old, we got a one bedroom at OKW. I highly reccommend you stay in a home away from home resort with a bedroom. So you can put the baby down to sleep and close the door and still talk with the rest of the family and watch tv and stuff.

I think the Boardwalk or Beach Club villas would be great for you because theres lots of entertainment around for your older child including two great pools. Plus the location is excellent.

I'd have to say WL, GF or the Poly.

With a 1yr old, I would want to be on the monorail or just a quick boat ride away to your resort room.

Or you could be near Epcot/MGM by staying at the YC.

Is there a particular theme that is important to you?

My vote would be for the Polynesian! :)

We just returned yesterday from a 7 night stay at the BWI, with our 5 yr old daughter, and it was WONDERFUL! The rooms were large and gorgeous, it was a short 5 minute walk to Epcot, or a short boatride away from MGM. She loved renting the surrey bikes and riding them along the Boardwalk past the Yacht and Beach Club and back again. If you stand on the promenade you can see the fireworks from Wishes, and if you stand over the bridge to the international gateway you can thee the fireworks from Illuminations. The dining choices were great, as well as the free nighttime entertainment.
The WL has been our absolute favorite in the past, but now nothing can live up to the BWI to us!

For convenience to the MK, with children this will be a favorite Park, I would choose one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts if you have always wanted to stay at The Contemporary in the Tower do so, everyone has different views and if she stayed in one of the wings she wouldn't have the same stay as being in the Tower."Convenience" you could walk to the MK...that's convenient.

For your 10 year old the Poly does have a great pool and the Resort feels like your staying at a South Sea Island. (Beautiful)

The Villas at Wilderness Lodge have the one bedroom villas avaliable that stacy6552 mentioned (my favorite) you would have a complete kitchen with washer & dryer ect...would make staying with your one year old a lot easier plus the WL has a Northwest Theme that is wounderful. (Great pools) Access to MK is via boat and you would be able to take your one year on in the stroller.
