Which debate was the best? A NON-debate about..debates! pt2.2

This is a poll about which debate is the best. We've had many a debate on the DB (naturally) and the CB. But which ones stand the test of time?

I'm seeding select debate topics into a 32 team field and we'll have a March Madness type of thing where we vote for the debates to see who goes to the next round.

I would like to see voting done on a few criteria. First, how much did you like that type of debate? Second, how much attention did it garner? Third, how hot did it get in that thread?

The seedings are as such:
1. smoking bans(1-0)
8. liberals/democrats(1-0)
2. working mom/SAHM(1-0)
7. Alien Encounter yea or nay?(1-0)
3. affirnative action vs. public school/home school
6. death penalty vs. Passion of the Christ=exploitation?
4. spanking vs. SUV's...safe or evil
5. Should USA be in the UN vs. animal fur

Second bracket:
1. Is the media liberally biased vs. electoral college/popular vote
8. Oil drilling in Alaska vs. Is American Idol rigged
2. The problem with Palestine vs. More than 4 at All Star Music?
7. Should "God" be on our money vs. bringing dbl strollers in the park
3.Should God be in the ledge vs. Front of the Line Pass abuse
6. Is reality TV real vs. showbiz moms over the top
4. stem cell research vs. Bring the DB back
5. Vegans/carnivores vs. Is NASCAR a sport?

Yes, I've left a few good ones off, and likely you'll debate with me why one was included while others excluded. But let's keep this debate about non-debate about debates light shall we? Let's have some fun!

I'm not voting because you left off one of my all time favorite debates: When visiting someone elses home, should you leave your shoes on or take your shoes off?

That was the best in my opinion!

Don't remember that debate. Was that on the CB or DB?

Anyway, the answer is simple. If someone says you must take your shoes off to enter, then you take them off. What's so hard about that? If they don't ask you to take them off, and you leave them on, it's on them for not stating the rules of the house. Any host that's worried about offending someone by asking them to take their shoes off has some bery touchy friends/family.
Now if there are health concerns, the host should consider them beforehand and decide what to do. Seems like a simple issue to me. What's to debate?
