Which days to start which park?

OK, I'm trying to figure out how to plan which park to start out in on each day of our trip. Here's the situation:
- We'll be there on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- We'll have 3-day park hoppers with one Magic Morning entry. We will plan to use that for Disneyland on Tuesday morning, and aim to do our Fantasyland rides then.
- We will be there in August, when the Southern California (not Deluxe/Premium, though) APs are blacked out.
- I understand that the onsite guests will get early entry to DL on Tuesday and Thursday, and CA on Wednesday.
- I guess there are certain AP holders who can get early entry to DL on Wednesday, and CA on Tuesday and Thursday. I am assuming that there will be fewer of these folks than there will be onsite guests, given the blackout dates and that they have to reserve a date, if I understand. But, maybe this is a bad assumption?
- We will probably want to focus on one park on Tuesday, the other on Wednesday, and then use Thursday to go to things we missed on the original days.

The question basically comes down to:
Should we stay in DL on Tuesday (we will already be there for the Magic Morning for the first hour)? That would mean CA on Wednesday, which means we are going to those parks on the same days that the onsite guests get their early entry.
Or, should we leave DL after the first 45 minutes, and head to CA on Tuesday (we would not be at the front of the line, but would be there at opening), then go back to DL on Wednesday? We could still line up for a front-of-the-line entry to CA on Thursday, if we miss out on something.

Do you think I am overemphasizing the effect/differences of the onsite guests with early entry, and overthinking the whole thing?

I would keep my eyes peeled around here and perhaps other Disney fan sites to see what affect, if any, the Annual Passholder Early Entry days are having on DCA/DL. Since the EE days don't start until tomorrow, it is all speculation right now. We should be getting some reports very soon about the AP EE days. :thumbsup2

Seriously, I would wait until the EMH and APEE sort themselves out before even trying to decide this. They have not happened yet and you are making assumptions about which is more crowded. EMH is limited by how many hotel guests there are and what percentage will get up early at 7AM for DCA.

APEE is limited by how many slots Disney allows each day. I have not heard which of these numbers is bigger. As a pure guess I would agree with you that the APEE will have fewer people. But there is no need to guess at this point. We can wait and see. There will be ample data in the coming weeks.
