Hi All,

My family and I are traveling from AU and will be in DL from 9/18 to 9/23 (feels weird writing the date backwards :rotfl:) I have been stalking reading and planning for months but now I have come to actually booking meals and can't work out which days would be best for each park. We have Universal tix which I planned on doing on the Saturday as we have Front of Line so 3 park days of Wed/Thur/Fri. First plan was DCA Wed then DL for MM and park hop for the 3rd but things have changed with the early entry (we are staying at DLH) and I'd love some suggestions on what I should do! :goodvibes

It's quite simple really. With EMH avoid doing DL on the MM days. However since Radiator Spring Racers is awesome you may want to go to DCA 3 EMHs in a row.

If you want to do EMH in DL I'd only do it for Ghost Galaxy Space Mountain. It will have longer line than usual the rest of the day. Other than that attraction, Haunted Mansion and the things in Cars Land crowds will be low so you should be able to get a lot done before the after 5 Friday crowds show up.

Thank for translating to English. I though I spoKe Aussie but still can't figure out if Fosters really means beer. ;)

bahaha, no one drinks Fosters, thats sooo 80s! :lmao:

Thanks for the tips, I am sure it will help! We have 4 kids so Fantasyland will be first on the DL EMH. Universal would be best on the Sat??

This ia all assuming that we aren't all totally wiped out with jet lag and awake during daylight hours! ;)

Jet lag usually will get you in the afternoon of the first day, if arriving on a early morning flight = 14 hour flight landing a few hours earlier than you departed on the same day, means missing a nights sleep and staring your day again. Kind of A Groundhog day :rotfl2:

Jet lag may ruin the first day. It happens and you will find out when you are there if it effects you.

For Fantasyland, Peter Pan First, then Mr. Toad, if kids are big Matterhorn. Try to get in Tea Cups and Dumbo in during EMH as well.

You may want to change your USH plans. If you have kids that want Fantasyland, Universal will not be great. You may want to go there Thursday or Friday and finish at DLR.

It was my Dad's pick to do Universal and seeing as though he is paying for practically the whole holiday, who am I to argue?! :yay:
You have a point about doing it late in the week and finishing at DL. Now that we have flexibility with EMH I might move things around a bit. :woohoo: Now I just have to work out where to fit in my character brekky.

:thumbsup2 Czardas, we land at around 10:30am at LAX so we only have to stay awake for around 10 hours which will be much more manageable than 12/14 if it were an earlier landing. The afternoon will be DTD for souvenirs and maybe Main St shopping if we can stand up. I am fully expecting not to get a wink of sleep on the plane, anything better than that will be a bonus.
