Hi! We're trying to figure out which day to reserve for Magic Kingdom. Thursday, 11/11 is Veteran's Day, but I don't know if that would still be better than a Friday. Any thoughts?

It certainly won’t be any worse! Plus, it’s a very nice day to be in MK to watch the flag retreat ceremony. It’s typically a little bigger to do than the norm.

Thanks for answering! I was worried that it would be worse because people have the day off. I assumed that the difference between the two days would be negligible. But, I was also hoping I was wrong about that and someone else would know better lol

I don't know how much validity people on this board give Touringplans.com but their crowd calendar suggests 11/11 will be at a level of 2 out of 10 and 11/12 would be 4 out of 10. I'd imagine the idea is that if people are coming in for a long weekend to WDW, they will start MK on Friday which is normally their first park day.

After having seen the Flag Retreat ceremony at Disneyland, definitely try to see that on Veterans Day. One of the best things Disney parks do.

You’re welcome! Have lots of fun!
