Which Dates Would You Pick and WHY???

I keep waffling between 2 sets of dates - 8/29-9/2 OR 9/8-9/12. Both at BWV and both with FD promo (yes, I have checked room only discounts and it still comes out more).

Flights are the same times/prices, resort is almost the same either way. I originally had the earlier dates but then decided to move it later.

I do have some good ADR's for the first set of dates (which included Sunday Supper at Enzo's - which can't happen in the later trip - no Sunday)

Any opinions? I guess I'm just thinking about crowds - and park opening dates of course!

I'd go as late as possible to hopefully have as much opened back up and back to normal as possible.

Under traditional/normal times, I like the 2'ish weeks post Labor Day at WDW. It's hot as blazes and you have to keep an eye on hurricane season, but it's typically among the lower crowd times of the year. It's like a magical little window that still maintains some semblance of lower crowds despite the ever growing popularity WDW had experienced over the last several years.

Since Labor Day is 9/7, I vote 9/8-9/12.

I'd recommend the 9/8-9/12 dates. We're there 8/29-9/6 and I want that time to myself. Just kidding.

Seriously though, we're doing the earlier dates, because the kids don't go back to school until Labour day here. I know some places in the States they go back some time in August, but there are others, like here, that don't go back till Labour day and will still be heading out on vacations. With the ability to go post Labour day, you'll avoid the extra crowds of people like us, and instead have to only deal with the crowds of people that are avoiding people like us (like we're recommending you do).

I would agree with the later dates. I'm thinking if schools start back up most kids and college students and teachers will be back in school. Also, waiting another week wouldn't hurt as far as letting things settle down.
