Which dates would be better?

Hi, I’m trying to choose to go to DL before or after our Miami cruise next year. Which dates would be better?
19th -24th March (am I clear of spring breaks?) or 7th - 12th April ( the week after Easter). I have no idea what type of holidays the USA have during these dates, that would impact a crowds and great trip. Which would you choose?

Easter is late this year as well. We'll see what the crowd levels are like in the next couple of weeks. It seems that Disneyland might have planed for more guests in March (Fantasmic was every night) than in April (Fantasmic is just on weekends).

Just checking to be sure you mean Disneyland (California) or Disney World (Orlando). Advice would be different based on that. Yes, I see that you're coming from Australia (love it!) and you might be considering a stop in California on your way to/from Miami. Just clarifying.

Spring break is different for different districts. I'd go with the week after Easter. Anytime I go anywhere in March, I'm told it's busy because it's spring break (doesn't matter which week it is).

March is usually cheaper and less crowded than April. April is kind of amazing though with Star Wars and potentially Food and Wine.

Have you considered WDW? The Brigjtline train from Orlando to Miami is quick, comfortable and often cheap.

Yes I’ve done WDW before but much prefer DL. The nostalgia, size of parks and staying at GCH is my go to each time.

From those dates I would pick April. The weather will be a little bit better. The springtime flowers will be more in bloom, and you might even get to do dapper day.
