Thinking of changing our trip to November next year to take advantage of the cooler weather and christmas decorations. Which dates should we avoid and when do the decorations go up?:thumbsup2

Decorations go up around the 12th. Thanksgiving weekend is busy but not too bad

Thanksgiving is the 4th thursday of the month - avoid that week.

1st week is jersey week. Alot of schools in new jersey have teacher training days so alot pull children out of school for the week. Supposed to be a bit busier.

We've been twice just after thanksgiving. All decorations up then and osborne lights and candlelight processional started just after thansgiving.

Personally i think going just after thanksgiving is ideal. Decorations are all up, crowds are minimal and you can still enjoy all the xmas events (such as MVMC).

We have been 3 times then and had a great time every visit! (Mind you one was for our wedding so i am a little bias :) )

Yes i'd agree, we've been twice just after thanksgiving (well we flew on thanksgiving last year).

Crowds low, weather nice for park touring and all the xmas stuff and the black friday sales!

DD now in school so trying October this year.

Were going the first week of december this year, but our annual passes run out then sones have to get there earlier! We have booked to be on the Disney dream during jersey week so we should be ok thanks for all your help!
