Hello,

DH just mentioned the other day that we may be able to go to DISNEYLAND:banana: ! The big question is when to go. We have two DSs, ages 5 1/2 and 1 1/2. We're interested in catching the parades, decorations and of course the fireworks. The kids and DH do not ride the "big" rides, but I'm willing to ride alone (if DH can manage the boys by himself). Anyway, here is my dillemma....

12/19-12/24 we're thinking the crowd levels are lower, however... the cost is approx. $800 more to fly at that time. Also, we'll miss a few days of school.

12/25-12/30  crowd levels will be insane., however we won't miss any school (about 3 days) and the cost is cheaper.

How bad are the crowd levels during the two vacation periods? Is the lower crowd level (12/19-12/24) worth the $800?

Please advise soon, we need to hurry and make the flights. THANKS A BUNCH

I would never recommend going the week after Christmas day no matter how much you save. We are planning to spend next Christmas at our home resort at WDW and will be departing on Boxing day (December 26th)

I would also recommend 19-24 because of crowds. You will enjoy it more and get more done, even though your weekend will be very crowded.
You might want to save DCA for those 2 days(Saturday and Sunday).

:goodvibes Thank you so much for your advise. I will let my DH know what the experts say! Hopefully we can get our plans set and will be DISNEY BOUND!!!

Hey, Mililani Mom, I'm assuming you live in Hawaii, so hello from a fellow island girl. Have a great trip!
