We are planning a big family trip - 16 of us. My 71 year old father will be going for the first time!

We have a lot of schedules to work around, including law school, highschool & jobs.

We are looking at two different weeks that will possibly work.

January 6-12
February 10-16

We've only been in September so I'm looking forward to the cooler temps!

Crowd wise they both should be slower. Jan may still be a little busy around the start of your dates but should slow down.

When we went in February the parks were empty but around Presidents' Day the crowd was very busy but slower back down

We loved February but some rides were shutdown for repairs and servicing so I would check that and see if there are a lot of rides closed before finalizing a date but I would say February

We have been there at both times of the year

January. I'm not sure when the cheer competitions in February kickoff, but you're inching very close to the typical time period for it with that particular week in February. It could be the week after, but you still have Valentines day which isn't a huge holiday in comparison to Christmas, Easter, or the 4th, but it's still a holiday and those are a draw for a lot of people.
