We have two boys who are 2 and 6 and almost never finish their food. I am talking every meal "making " them eat 3 more bites, etc. So I was wondering whick cs places, especially at MK are enough to split and which have small portions?
Thanks!

The drink won't be large enough to split. Pay for a second drink and you won't be saving as much as you think. Stand for a minute or two and see what's being served and make your own decision. The meal might be enough to split if your kids eat the entire meal but might not be if they skip the grapes or fries.

We felt like for the most part the cs kids meals are not that much food. The few times my kids did split one we ordered an extra side and drink which typically costs about as much as just ordering another kids meal. For table service it was no problem sharing and they would even split it on 2 plates. Particularly the healthy part of the meal isn't typically big enough to split unless something like 1 uncrustable sandwich would be enough for both of them.

As an example, at cosmic ray's the kids meal was 4 corn dog nuggets and 5 tater tots and apple sauce and drink.
not much food in my opinion.

I've split a meal between a 6 and 8 year old at cs and they were fine. It was a regular size meal not a kids meal and we did have to order an extra drink. They split a hamburger (cut it down the middle) and an order of fries and they were full. We did find that ordering them each a kids meal that comes with a drink worked out to be the same price though...so it really didn't matter if they didn't eat all of the food.

My 2 and 5 year olds shared each meal and it was enough. My 2 year old eats a LOT too. We had the dining plan though, so they had the dessert as well. I always carried juice boxes, so an extra drink wasn't needed. Or my 2 year olds sippy cup, so she had half of what we got for the 5 year old (usually milk)

My DD2 is an average eater, and she was able to finish all of her cs kids' meals. A regular size meal might be a better option if you want them to split it.

My DDs split the meal at Cosmic Rays. They each had 2 corn dog nuggets. My younger DD doesn't eat fries, so the older DD ate those. But if both the kids eat fries, just share some of yours.

Also, we found that the foot long hotdogs were pretty big. Although this wasn't a kids meal, per se, my kids shared one.

We've also found out that sometimes it works better for my DH and I to share our meals with the girls. I share with the older DD and he shares with the younger DD. It depends on where we eat, but we might cut the hamburger in half or if at a sit down place, I eat the chicken parmesan and DD eats the spaghetti side, etc.

In this picture you can see DDs burger cut in half.

Casey's Hot Dog stand (near front of MK) had huge hotdogs. My girls shared one dog. I am not a huge hot dog lover but I thought the dogs were pretty good. Loved the vinegar for the fries. Have fun!!

ALso, at CS meals we did not always order kid's meals. Sometimes both girls were not hungry or did not like the choices so they shared some of the regular meals. For example at TOy Story Pizza Planet they shared a pizza and a drink, we just asked for an extra cup. (I don't recall seeing a kids meal but there may have been one?)

We ended up paying OOP for some of our meals when the girls did not like choices or wanted fruit or something from a stand nearby that wasn't offered at the CS restaurant we selected. We ended up doing this a few times but it was still worth it for us to do the dining plan I think...

Hope this helps.

At Cosmic Ray's you can get a kid's meal that consists of two roasted chicken legs, mashed potatoes and a container of applesause, along with a small drink. I tasted the chicken leg once and it was really good.
