Which CRT menu is current?

We'll have the DDP for my next trip, and we're considering CRT (I've never eaten there and wouldn't spring for it otherwise.) The menu on WDW Info (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?restaurant.id=120) and the official Disney site (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/cinderella-royal-table/menus/dinner/) contradict, with the WDW site listing same for both lunch and dinner, and a different vegetarian dish. The veg dish from the unofficial site looks much better, as do the dinner appetizers. It's listed as updated in 11/16, so I'm hoping the official site is slow to update and not the other way around.

Anyone know? Also, does this menu change seasonally/frequently?

Thanks!

The actual Disney website is horrible about updating things like this. For being such a huge destination, their website sucks. I don't say that lightly - I used to give them the benefit of the doubt, but really, they should have ironed out the issues by now. I would bet the WDW Info is right in this case.

Last time I went to Fife & Drum I asked for the Phineus and Ferb Power Pack and the CM looked at me baffled for a moment and said, "We don't have that. We did a long time ago, I think, but not anymore." It was so disappointing - I had a very sad child who was looking forward to that. This was in October and as you can see - still listed on their official website even though it is now January: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/fife-and-drum-tavern/menus/

If your wish to eat at CRT is based on one version of the menu or the other, I would advise skipping entirely if there's just one item of interest and it;s on one of them only.

The middle of last year, CRT changed to having one menu for Lunch and Dinner. In my recent experience, the Disney menu is right -- there is no longer a choice of appetizers, and it's one menu from lunch through close. I would, however, expect the vegetarian offering to change somewhat, seasonally, and be another thing altogether by April. One doesn't serve "summer vegetables" in February, or autumn vegetables in July, KWIM?

Looking at both those, I don't think either is completely what our menu looked like in December when we had dinner there. DH and I both got the fish, which was pan seared salmon that night. Can't say I recall the rest all that well but definitely no choice in appetizer, just the tasting plate as the Disney site states. But both list beef and shrimp and I don't believe that was on there at all though I could be wrong.

I'll check if DH took a picture of the menu. But I also agree with pp, if it comes down to one dish then it may not be worth it. I think it's a place to go to for the atmosphere and location, while hoping for the best when it comes to the food.

Thanks. I'm vegetarian with an allergy to mushrooms, so while the gnocchi would be okay with them removed, I suspect the other dish is a bit tricker.

And the beef and shrimp was of interest to someone else in the party. The loss of the appetizer choice is really disappointing... for the prices they charge, that sad excuse for a tasting plate (at least based on photos I saw) is ridiculous.

If you happen to have a current menu photo, that would be great. Thanks!

FWIW, the Disney website menu looks like what I saw when we were there a couple weeks ago. Everything we ordered is on there. Definitely no choice in appetizer, though I thought the tasting plate seemed big. We didn't have a big party though. The food I ate was absolutely delicious. :)

We were there on 11/30. My daughter had the beef and shrimp with mashed potatoes and veggies, so it was still there. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce. The menu at wdw site looks like the one we were offered. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I posted food pics on the food pic thread. Not sure when your trip is...your signature says your next trip is in 2015... of course the menu could change soon..

Due to your restrictions you could book it then contact allergy dining in advance to see if they can work with you to have something you can eat. If not you can cancel without issue as long as it's more than 48 hrs in advance.

Oops! Planning a couple right now, but this is for a trip in August. Guess I need to to fix my sig ;)

Thanks all! Appreciate the input.

Special diets has generally done little for me - we just wait until we get there and talk to the chef.
