For those who have already done meals at CRT, which would you choose again and why? For those who have yet to dine there, which one do you think you would like best?

We've been to WDW several times and have yet to take the kids to CRT. This year is a very special celebration for us and I really want to take them to eat in the castle, but I just can't decide which meal to do. I know the princesses are only at BF and lunch, right? DD8 isn't too into the princesses anymore and DS4 really wouldn't be either, so that isn't much of a factor for me. It's more about the overall experience and even quality of food.

We have our first time ever at CRT booked for our 25th annivesary this May. We booked dinner figuring that it would be less hectic and noisy than the early meals since the princesses are not present but yet we still get a quick photo with Cindy in the lobby and we'll get to see the inside of the castle!

For those with young girls in the group, it sounds like the earlier meals would be prefered to see all the princesses.

Breakfast because kids seem to like that meal the best and you can get in the park early

I take my 2 girls every year for the breakfast. The food is good and we usually try to make an early ADR so that we can get into the MK before there is a ton of traffic on Main Street.

Happy Planning!

Lunch is best to me. Not only are all of the princesses there, but you can get to the park for RD, get on a bunch of attractions with a low crowd, and then as it gets busy, you'll be ready to head to CRT for lunch around 12 Noon.

Personally I chose none. We have 3 sons so this meal has never been a priority and since it is 2 DDP credits I think it is a terrible value; however, in your case I might choose it if your kids want it. On the DDP I would definitely pick dinner for cost alone, but paying out of pocket I would review the menus and choose based on what your family is likely to eat.

We've done both the breakfast & dinner, and I would like to try lunch at some point. Of the two we've already tried I would do breakfast with an early ADR. We were already finished with our breakfast before the park official opened, and you're already right by Fantasy Land, perfect for the little ones.

I voted for lunch. We usually get to the parks at opening and do a break in the afternoon. For us, we do alot of the rides, eat lunch and then go back to swim and rest at the resort. Just works out best for us.

I didn't vote in the poll because it's been awhile since we were at CRT. We used to do the breakfast there (back when that was the only option for character dining) and we really enjoyed it, but now that the prices have gone up so high, I couldn't see opting for the breakfast option.

We're going back to CRT on our next trip, and I booked lunch. It's only slightly more expensive than the breakfast option, will give us time to see attractions before we go to our meal, and it seems like a better bang for the buck on food. I was considering the dinner option as well, but thought DD would be more enthused by seeing all the princesses than just the show they do at dinner.
