I don't usually go to this part of the boards, so if there's a question like this already out there, I apologize! I couldn't find it!

I was wondering which countries in EPCOT are your favorites to eat at? (And I mean, the ones with actual sit-down restaurants...)

I've never eaten at any of them....I've only ever gotten the fish and chips in the UK and the nachos in Mexico. But this time around, I'd like to eat at one of the restaurants, and need some help deciding. :confused3

For me it would be Japan
I really enjoy Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining is also great
The servers are excellent and the whole themeing and atmosphere of the Japan pavillion is wonderful :cloud9:

Are there any cuisines you particularly do or don't like? The thing is, we are all going to give recommendations based on our personal taste. Maybe also give the most important criteria for you when selecting a good restaurant. That way you will get a more narrowed down response. Otherwise it can be a bit overwhelming - especially if lots of DISers post different opinions in response to your thread. :goodvibes Hopefully we can help you make a great choice!

Teppon Edo in Japan and Le'Cellier in Canada. However, I am in the minority with LeCellier and reaping endless praise on the place; I was not impressed with our last visit. They are very popular and know it. The food was good; However, we were seated next to the restrooms and between two server stations. We politely asked to be moved and the manager said we can either sit there or not sit anywhere. We even volunteered to wait if needed. Her answer, NO. (true story).

I have eaten at Teppan Edo, Morocco and Corral Reef. All were wonderful. My kids favorite was Teppan Edo. It was their favorite on 8 days of DDP. My favorite was Morocco. I will have to say that there was a huge table of locals sitting next to us at Morocco and that is always a good sign. :thumbsup2

in Germany, Restaurant Marrekesh in Morocco and Le Cellier in Canada would be my favorites. Teppan Edo is good but we have several good teppanyaki style restaurants bear our house.

I like the atmosphere of the San Angel Inn in Mexico. It's much like the Blue Bayou in Disneyland.

The Biergarten in Germany is a fun time.

Some dessert from Boulangerie Patisserie in France.

Honestly, I really don't have a preference; I'm willing to try anything once. As for being more specific....I sat here trying to think of how to narrow it down, but I couldn't. lol I'd really just like to know everyone's opinions on which restaurants they like the best and why. Considering I've never eaten at any of them, ANY information helps. :)
Thanks for trying to help me out though! Sorry I can't be more specific.

I don't do a lot of TS dining, but if I'm staying at one of the Epcot resorts, I will usually make ADR's for Le Cellier, Nine Dragons, and Rose and Crown. Nine Dragons changed their menu after their last refurbishment, and I don't find as many things that I like there any more (I've been getting fried rice and an appetizer or two the past couple times). I've had pretty good luck with Le Cellier and Rose and Crown though (although I can sympathize with the pp who was seated near the restrooms - I've had that honor as well). I do prefer the outside tables at Rose and Crown if given a choice - although I don't generally eat there late enough to get in with the Illuminations crowd.
