Which Conceirge would you recommend?

Hi there

I have been reading loads of the concierge posts and it sounds great. We are thinking of staying 4 nights concierge at the end of our 2005 visit (we have a villa booked for 3 weeks and would add the concierge on to the end of this) - it would be value season.

My choices are

1. Contemporary Tower Club - I chose this because DS would absolutely love to stay here and the idea of seeing the castle lit up at night and the fireworks from our balcony really appeals. My concern would be the "light" Concierge (we couldn't really afford the $500 plus cost of the 14th floor)

Polly - This looks like a great resort and the monorail would be handy

Animal Kingdom - there seems to be really good concierge AP rates which would be another consideration

So could I have your comments good or bad about the concierge services at these resorts

Hi. I've only stayed at concierge with the Yacht Club, but my husband and I absolutely LOVED it! I wish we could afford concierge everytime (that was our honeymoon). The area around the Yacht Club is excellent - there's the boardwalk with restaurants, Atlantic Dance, an arcade, the surry bikes, and within walking distance to Epcot and a short boat ride distance (or longer walking distance) to MGM. Would DEFINITELY recommend it.

The Poly...or the Poly....or the Poly...or you could always try the Poly

No i love the Poly but i am going to try AKL in August my TA says it is lovley ...so i think i will take her word for it and try it....but only for 5 nts or so....the other 11 will be at the Poly.....
My heart is at Poly concierge...for me it is Home

I would recommend the akL's club level. there is nothing prettier than sitting in the lounge looking at the tree and the reflection of all the lights on the glass wall in the lobby. Hands down it's our families fave resort!

The Poly's concierge is great. It guarantees that your room will be in a great location (since the Hawaii is centrally located), the view of MK from the lounge is perfect and the food offerings are varied and well done.

AKL would probably run a close second except (1) the resort will not guarantee that you will have a savanah view and (2) the concierge lounge does not face a savanah

Since you will be at WDW this year why not take some time and tour these concierge lounges. The lounges aren't crowded after 10:00. I sure a CM would be happy to quickly show you around.

I haven't done the Contemporary CL but I highly recommend the AKL or the Poly. My DS9 loves the arcade at the Contemporary.

Hi. My only concierge experience at WDW is the AKL and it was WONDERFUL!
The Sunrise Safari was the highlight of our trip and is available only to concierge guests. They also now offer a Sunset Safari with dinner at Jiko and it sounds amazing.
The lounge is a relaxing, gorgeous space and we thoroughly enjoyed the food offerings and, especially, the capuccino/espresso machine
The itinerary planners helped me in advance secure PS to CRT!!, CaliGrill with awesome seats - they also put together a gift basket for my DD and gifts for my parents (I simply gave them some ideas and my CC#)
I HIGHLY recommend AKL Concierge!!
