Trying to decide here between these two choices. So... I am going to ask YOU:

Which would you rather choose - O'hana for dinner, and Chef Mickey's for breakfast. OR, Chef Mickey's for dinner, and O'hana for breakfast??

We haven't been to neither of them so far so we would like to try them both, but we don't know in which way yet! Choose wisely... lol

I haven't had Chef Mickey's, but I would pick something other than O'hana for breakfast. I was not thrilled with the food at O'hana's breakfast. The characters were great, but I've had better breakfast on property.

I have not had Ohana breakfast, but to me, nothing beats Chef Mickey's for breakfast!! Preferably on my first morning there (to kick off my trip right!!)

I just tried Ohana dinner for the first time on our last trip, and it was wonderful!

So my vote is CM-breakfast, Ohana-dinner (that is what we will do on OUR next trip!)

Oh, trust me, we have tons of other ADRs thought up already for September. I KNOW! So far away! But we already have our January/February trip planned and now I want to start planning the September trip.

O'hana and Chef Mickey's seems to be the only uber-popular restaurants we haven't tried yet, so I'm making it a mission to try them in September.

I'm already thinking of our ADR's for next December! But
I know for sure that CM and ohana are must do's! We have loved them
on previous trips and look forward to them in between trips!

Trip planning is so much fun!!! :cloud9:

definitly ohana for dinner and chef mic for breakfast. i have been told nothing is better than chef mic at breakfast.

I agree with the pp's on 'Ohana dinner, but remeber, this is NOT a character meal...no Lilo & Stitch at dinner, but there are fun games for the kids.

We love 'Ohana, and hope you have a great experience.

My vote is for 'Ohana breakfast and CM dinner. :)

The 'Ohana breakfast is one of our favorite character meals - the character interaction is great and we have always enjoyed the food. We went to CM's one time for dinner and it was OK -nothing too special - but then again we thought the 'Ohana dinner was just OK as well.

My vote would be 'Ohana for dinner and CM for breakfast. However, if you want a more calm and quiet breakfast (but fun, nonetheless), then go to 'Ohana for both! :goodvibes

Chef Mickey's for breakfast and O'hana's for dinner...hands-down. The breakfast is a tradition for many on their way to the Magic Kingdom and it really is a wonderful treat. There's plenty to eat and many characters to see.

O'hana's recently changed their menu for dinner and took away a few things I enjoyed, but it still has a nice meal set up. I think this is the best way to go.

I would pick CM for breakfast because the dinner was terrible. I would not go to Ohana for dinner but would pop over to Kona instead.

Thank you all for your replies!! We (DBf and I) were going to try Ohana this coming trip in January but I changed it to Kona so I can try the Tuna Oscar (hopefully they still have it there on January 29! Now all my boyfriend wants to try is Ohana and Chef Mickeys... I keep telling him, "September trip! September trip!"

(He's asking me about it right now actually HAHA :lmao: )

Again, thanks for the input! I want to try Ohana for dinner because I heard they have the shrimp skewers now and I want to try that bread pudding dessert (hopefully they will still have it!). Now as for Chef Mickey's, that I want to tackle on a day we go to a water park. It just seems like a fun way to energize you for the relaxing, yet hectic paradox of Disney water parks!
