Which characters to see at DLR

I have been to WDW a couple of times and are now planning our first trip to DLR...

So which characters can I expect to see there? I know Mickey, Minnie ect. Some who aren't at WDW???

We have actually seen more characters at DLR than at WDW. After searching in vain for Mulan over several trips to WDW, we have now run into her twice - once at Goofy's Kitchen and the other day with Mushu at DCA. I was told the other day that Tiana is not yet at WDW, but she has several shows daily at DLR. And we caught Prince Phillip at Goofy's Kitchen one night as well. Others we have seen at DLR/DCA and not WDW: Terk, Rafiki, Koda, Kenai, and Jessie. (Saw her outside TSMM at DCA this week.)

Goofy's kitchen sounds like fun! I think we'll have to book at meal there when we go to DL this summer. Just FYI if anyone is planning to go to WDW anytime soon and is looking for any of these characters, most of them can be found if you know where to look. Mulan can be found in China at Epcot daily in the afternoons- she has been there regularly for at least the past couple of years. She does take breaks though, so that may be why some people miss her. Mushu used to be there with her quite a bit, but I have heard he hasn't been out much in recent months. Whoever told you Tiana was not yet at WDW was wrong. She and Prince Naveen have been having a regular meet and greet in MK since last fall. When we saw them, the Prince was hilarious and Tiana was beautiful. I expect Prince Naveen will probably be phased out at some point because WDW doesn't seem to place too much focus on the Princes. MK also did have a Riverboat show with Tiana there for a while, but unfortunately that was a limited run and as far as I know it is no longer there. Rafiki and Terk have daily character meets at AK. Rafiki is at the Conservation Station. Terk is at a character spot. Koda and Kenai sometimes appear at Camp Minnie Mickey at AK. I don't think they are regular. If they show up, I think it is just in the mornings. Jessie did not do meet and greets at WDW for a while, but she is back with Woody doing regular meet and greets at Frontierland at MK. I've never heard of Prince Phillip out for meet and greets at WDW except for at MVMCP- even then I don't think he is always there. At least he wasn't there with Sleeping Beauty last year at the time we were at MVMCP
