I wish I could find out more information on which characters are at which character meals and when. Does anyone know? I think we'd love to see The Simpsons or Despicable Me.

That meal is pretty expensive considering it is for one pre plated meal. :(
We did the spiderman one a couple times and it was awesome and a buffet.

I agree. $26.99 for a single plate of scrambled eggs and bacon? or a single plate with a couple of pancakes and a couple pieces of bacon? with no refills? I'm not an egg or pancake eater, so I'd be paying $26.99 for a couple pieces of bacon.:rotfl: No thanks!

You can also get character dining at the universal on site hotels and I don't think you would have to be a hotel guest necessarily. I am pretty sure that the Simpsons were at the a Royal Pacific islands dining room on a Monday night for dinner and that Scooby and woody woodpecker were there on a Wednesday evening - we did that and it was amazing, so quiet and Scooby spent loads of time with us :thumbsup2. I think they also have a meal with Despicable me characters but not sure when. I guess the other two hotels will have similar too. Hope this is useful :)

I'll have a full review of the character breakfast at the Royal Pacific Resort posted this Friday and will post a link once it goes up. We did not stay at the resort.

The character breakfast is every Sunday from 8AM-Noon. The characters are two Pink Berets (girl bunnies) from the movie Hop and Gru and a Minion from Despicable Me. The plated dishes were absolutely incredible and my choice of the Tahitian French Toast was hands-dwon the best French toast I have ever had.

Another post mentioned $26.99 for one plated meal. It is true you get no refills, but there is a large continental breakfast that is also included in that price with a whole bunch of options. You can go up as many times as you want for that. Will have a bunch of pictures of the food in the review.

Awesome! Thank you! I'll look for it.

My family went to the character breakfast at Royal Pacific Resort this past Sunday and E.B. from HOP was also there. We were told this breakfast is a minion breakfast. The other characters are subject to change.

We went to the Character Superstar Breakfast at Universal on Nov 7th. Yes, you picked a pre-plated meal, but when we were seated and they took our drink orders, we were told if we wanted anything additional (more eggs, bacon etc) to just ask. We were asked many times during the meal if we needed anything extra so I'm thinking there had been complaints about no seconds. The characters came out in two stages:
1 - Dora, Diego, Spongebob and Squidward
2 - EB and Bit from Hop, Mr Gru and a minion
My only complaint was that we booked and paid for the meal in May and were able to reserve the date, but had to call multiple times to secure an actual time which weren't available until September.

that has been the procedure for a long time.

you book in advance then secure the time later.
