Which Character Tea Party should we do?

We are already doing a Character Birthday Meal for my daughter in Cafe Mickey, but we were thinking to do a character tea party but cant decide which one to choose as you all know the Character Tea has changed, which has confused me as we were originally going to do Tea Party at Plaza Gardens!
BUT now they do:

*Normal tea party at pizza planet
*Birthday tea party at Lucky Nugget

So would you choose:

1) Birthday Celebrations at Lucky Nugget
(cake & present)

2) Toy Story Tea Party at Pizza Planet
(with toy story character which my daughter loves at the moment)

3) Or neither as they have not had good reviews recently and we are already doing a character meal at Cafe Mickey with Birthday cake

Going on the recent reviews, personally I'd do neither.

However, you mentioned that your DD loves Toy Story, so, as the character tea party at Pizza Planet is a Toy Story themed one, I'd go for that. At least she'd stand a chance of seeing Woody, Jessie and Buzz there (Buzz is pretty scarce in the parks without a scrum).

I agree with this. We've been to DLRP five times now and I've never seen Buzz, apart from the parade, so it will be really nice for your DD.

If you go expecting it not to be very good, hopefully you will be very pleasantly surprised and at least your DD will enjoy the characters.

Thats very true

1) Does anyone know how much the Toy Story Tea Party is??
2) Will it be ok to book it when we arrive next week as its low season?
3) Ive heard it starts at 5pm?? am i right?

I wouldn't do another birthday celebration, I'd spend the money on a gift from one of the shops/boutiques, perhaps having it left in the hotel room after Cafe Mickey. You could say it was from Minnie!

my son too loves toy story... so does my OH!! haha.
are you able to do the pizza planet tea party... but not as a birthday thing... just to go there and see the charecters.. have tea and cake or whatever?? how much is it.. and could i book it when i arrive at sante fe?

There are 2 Character Tea Parties:

1) Toy Story Tea Party with the Toy Story Characters at PIZZA PLANET (you cant have birthday celebrations here)

2) Character Tea Party with Disney Character (Like cafe Mickey) this is at Lucky Nugget and is for Birthday Celebrations

Im not sure how much the Toy Story Tea Party is i am hoping someone will be able to tell us soon

oh..sounds good then. I am sure it can be a bit crowded in there...esp when buzz comes out... but still more likely to see him one on one then in the park! plus... if she has watched the first toy story she will know she is in the pizza planet etc, be loads of fun i think!!

so just need to know... how much?
and is it safe to leave booking until i am at sante fe?

Thats what i would like to find out too...

1) How much per person is Toy Story Tea Party in Pizza Planet
2) Will it be safe to book at Hotel when we arrive next week

The character tea party at the Pizza Planet (not the birthday one) - is 13 euros per person, adult or child (unless the prices have gone up recently - if they have, it will only be by one euro or so per person).

If you are going for longer than 3 days, you should be fine booking the tea party when you get to your hotel. You can also book it in advance on the phone with Dining reservations - you don't have to pay in advance.

oh brilliant, thank you. there for 5 days. maybe would be good thing to try and book for the sat, as worried about what to do when park gets busy!
