Which character meals not to miss????

Hi,

When planning a trip with 4 kiddos (boys - 5 & almost 7 and 2 girls - 4 and 2 years old) we want to do 2 character meals...the girls love princesses and the boys love any of the jungle or tarzan or toy story characters the best. which meals should we try to do?

i recommend the Princess Storybook breakfast in Epcot. 5 princesses no waiting LOL (okay, just a little waiting) the food was great when we were there.

NO cinderella at that one though so if you want to see her you have to either do the CRT breakfast or the Cinderella dinner at the grand floridian (1900 park fare) I think it's still going? we went last year and would DEFINITELY recommend the food at the dinner over the breakfast at CRT.

Don't know what to tell you about the guys maybe Chef Mickey. They NEED to come up with a more 'boy' oriented meal, an 'adventurers' meal with tarzan, aladdin and buzz light year would be phenomenal, wouldn't it? my daughter would love that too.

we have always though that the Pooh and Friends breakfast at the Crystal Palace at MK is the best from a location, characters and food perspective

Garden Grill is a great restaurant. Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale are there and the food is pretty good too. It's definatly a lot of fun.

There really isn't a meal with any of the Tarzan or Toy Story characters, but Timon and Rafiki do a character dinner on Monday and Friday nights at the Swan's Gulliver's Grill.

We love Chef Mickey's. The napkin twirling dance is my fav. and decorating a cupcake with Goofy was a hit my kids were a wee younger.

Chef Mickey is our all time favorite. The kids get to see many characters like mickey,minnie,goofy,donald duck,chip and dale. Make sure the kids have their autograph books for this one. There is a great food buffet and wonderful desserts.

We love the 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. The Mad Hatter is usually there & he is a RIOT!!!!!

I would love for Disney to get some kind of "Hero" type breakfast. My son loves Peter Pan, Aladdin, Hercules & Tarzan right now. That would be a great character meal

But we LOVE Chef Mickey's. Really, you can't go wrong with any of the character meals, IMHO. We have loved all the ones we've done. We are even taking DS to both PSB and CRT. Hey, if he can't take out villains with Peter Pan and Buzz, he'll have to flirt and collect kisses from the princesses! That's one of his specialties, anyway! In another couple of years he'll probably think they're too sissy, so I've got to take all the adorable pics I can for now!

1900 Park Fare has a good "mix" of characters at their breakfast, so maybe that would be a good option for you, too. Wherever you decide, I'm sure the kids'll have a blast!

I agree. It's also a little less expensive than many of the other character meals.

Another vote for Chef Mickey's. The food is good (the mashed potatoes are unbelieveable)and the atmosphere is fun. The napkin twirling song (or as we call it "throw your crumbs around") brings a smile to everyone's face. The characters seem to spend more time at the tables there compared to others

We love Chef Mickey's and it's a "must do" for every trip (it's our first night at Disney tradition). Our boys are 5 and 9.

We've also done Crystal Palace and Cape May Cafe for breakfast in the past and enjoyed those as well.

We did Donalds Breakfastasauras in May of this year and did not like it at all. The food was not good, the service was poor, and character interaction was brisk. We won't be doing that one again.
