Here is what we did last trip, I don't mind repeating some (like CRT) but I am hoping to try some others. DD is 5 1/2, loves everything Disney, especially princesses. DS is only 2, only knows Mickey, Donald, Pooh, etc. I'm not even sure how he will react to the *real* characters.

So, here is what we've already experienced....
Cinderellas Royal Table (breakfast)
Crystal Palace (lunch)
Storybook Princess (breakfast)
1900 Park Fare Cinderellas Gala Feast (dinner)

I'm thinking of trying....
Liberty Tree Tavern
Donalds Breakfastosaurus
Chef Mickeys

Any reviews on those or any others that I should consider???

Here's the ones my family have been to and enjoyed:
Minnie's Luau Breakfast at the Polynesian
and Chef Mickeys

The best part of Minnie's Luau is the Mickey waffles. ;)

We do Chef Mickeys each time we go, and We like to do it for dinner. It's very
lively and you get all the "original Disney" crowd, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy. The "atmousephere" is so much fun, we have also done it for breakfest and enjoy both, have fun!!!!!!!! :wizard:

DD4 and I love the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. The characters there are typically Alice and Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, and then Pooh and another Pooh character. You DD would enjoy the face characters while you DS would like the Pooh gang. The food is always good (buffet) and the characters come around more than once and take their time at each table. Garden Grill is our favorite character dinner. The food is delicious and we had more character interaction there than anywhere else. We had Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. The restaurant is cool too. It slowly revolves around the Land attraction.

another vote for Chef Mickey's although the characters don't spend too much time at your table as will some of the other dinners.

We did dinner at Crystal Palace, breakfast at Donald's Breakfastasaurus, and dinner at Chef Mickey's a few weeks ago. We liked them all!!

Crystal Palace had the best selection of desserts, I thought. The Pooh characters were fun. Plenty of variety, we were all full when we left there.

Donald's was great. Good food, fun waiter, nice characters. We were there on a day it was pouring rain and it was just so nice to sit and eat out of the rain!

Chef Mickey's was good. It was loud, but it was fun. There were lots of choices, everything I tasted was good. I especially liked the seafood pasta alfredo. DS ate three helpings of the mac & cheese. It was not a terribly relaxing meal, but we enjoyed it. I was nervous because I read some really ugly reviews just before we left, but it was fine. Food was good, restaurant was clean, staff were nice. The characters all came by twice. We did not feel the least bit rushed.

Have a great time!!

I've done Chef Mickey's for breakfast (had a great time) food was good. Also have done Donald's Breakfastosaurus....REALLY good food...character interaction was good, but maybe a little rushed.

I'd definitely do both again.

Our favorite is Garden Grill at the Land (although it is closed for refurb)! Great food, characters, and service. We always go for dinner and have PS's for as late as possible. Then the characters can spend a ton of time with you!

Since the Garden Grill is closed, this trip we are trying the Liberty Tree Tavern. My best friend says this is her favorite character meal.

We also like Crystal Palace for b'fast. We, too, feel Chef Mickey's and CRT are overrated. Great theming, but overrated.

We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare back when the villains were there. My kids love it! Food and characters! My DD (6 at the time) really enjoyed the face characters and that they can speak with you.

We loved Liberty Tree Tavern. The characters at our dinner were Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Dale. They are so interactive and our kids ages 8-13 had a blast! Food was great. We ate lunch there also (no characters, but really great food). We also loved the atmosphere of the place. We would highly recommend
this and will definately go there again.

How about Cape May for breakfast? It is called Goofy's Beach Party and the characters are Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale. The characters are very friendly and spend time with everyone. The food is very good also.

We have been to:
1900 Park Fare breakfast
Chef Mickey's --dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern-- dinner
Garden Grille-- both lunch and dinner
Princess Storybook Breakfast

Our favorites are:
1900 Park Fare-- breakfast
Garden Grille- Lunch

We've done CRT, Chef Mickey's, Hollywood and Vine (no longer a character meal), CP, and Cape May. We liked Cape May the best for food and characters. We're headed to CRT and Cape May again in March. :hourglass

We enjoyed LTT. It was better than I expected. The food is more of the frozen food type, but still good. The meats were very tender, and flavorful. Mac. and cheese is Stoufers. It was nice to be served Family style, and the dining areas, are broken up into smaller sections. Not as loud, and crazy. Prob. one of my faves.

My DD (9), absolute fave is Chef Mickey's. DH, and I aren't thrilled about the food, but this is the only restaurant that she begs for every trip. Good character interaction

We did Donald's a several years ago. I wasn't thrilled, but it was the end of our trip, and I was prob. just tired. We are going again this time, because Donald is my hubby's favorite. The rest of my family thought it was good.

Good luck, and have fun deciding!!!
