Which character meal?

I booked our ADR's several months ago. My son wanted to experience as many character meals in the parks as possible. I have convinced him to go to Tutto's so I need to eliminate one of our other meals. We haven't experienced any of these meals so I could really use some advice-

Donald's Safari Breakfast- on an AM EMH
Lunch at CRT
Akershus Princess Breakfast- also an AM EMH
Garden Grill
Crystal Palace Breakfast

I'm wondering if I've overkilled him on breakfast, but this is his favorite meal. I'm also worrying about getting to those early ADRs on EMH days. They are both about 8:15. I have seen mixed reviews about Garden Grill. Our other ADR is at 50's PTC Cafe.

Any advice would be appreciated.

As the mom of 2 boys, I would re-think doing 2 princess meals! Don't skip Garden Grill---it is a fun, relaxing meal where the character interaction is great and just about the only character meal with Chip and Dale!!

The breakfast buffets are nice if you are paying out of pocket because the are the least expensive. And at some restaurants only breakfast may be a character meal. I enjoy the dinners more because of the more variety of food offered. There is only so much you can do with breakfast foods.
May I suggest 1900 Park Fare dinner if you have never eaten there. The characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anistasia and Drizella. It was a very nice atmosphere and the food had a nice selection.

We ate there 2 years ago and the characters were slightly different and the food offerings were slightly better, but overall it was still a nice dinner.
Breakfast is good at Norway as well.
Are there certain characters he is interested in??
How old is he??
Chef Mickeys was fun. We ate breakfast, but next time I would try another meal there.

Thanks for the suggestions. He is turning 12. He actually seems excited about meeting the princesses. He already considers himself a ladies' man.:rotfl It is probably too late to add other ressie's like Chef Mickey's since our trip is only 2 weeks away. We hope to do this one next year when his sister is old enough to go. Paying out of pocket is definitely an option for us and I've figured that either one of the breakfasts or CRT would be the best one to do OPP. We are on the DDP and with our CS meals I was worried we might not eat that much food to pay OPP for a TS meal. We definitely want to do CRT and it is our last meal.
Any other suggestions would be great!

Personally I am not so keen on the character breakfasts. Or any breakfast out. It just seems like an easier meal to have in the room!

I just love a character lunch (or early dinner). Getting in from the heat for an hour's break in the middle of the day is just heaven. Also in the morning you are generally rushing to do something or get a fastpass for something else. A few hours later you are more appreciative of the sit down.

I have done all these meals and love them all. I tend to plan my days around which character meals I can do that day!!! They really are a highlight for us but in our case the breakfasts are the most expendable!

Just my opinion...you really cannot go wrong anyways!! Lucky you to be at the booking stage :)

overlap with Garden Grill and the Safari breakfast with Mickey. There will be five princesses and/or leading ladies at both Askerhaus and CRT. The only certainty is Cinderella downstairs at CRT. The Pooh characters at CP are your only chance to see them if you want to see them.

I would think you would want to drop Askerhaus based on the overlap and your stated desire to eat at CRT. (Lunch at CRT is our preferred character meal.)

I wouldn't worry about CM if you keep the Safari Breakfast and Garden Grill. You'll hit most of the CM characters between the two and get Chip and Dale to boot.

Tough choice because you get so much variety in princesses at Akershus...HOWEVER, can I just give a RAVE REVIEW for Garden Grill?! :) It was absolutely fantastic. I was there on Saturday night. The characters were lively and hilarious especially Chip & Dale. Tusker House is a blast too and one of the only spots to catch Donald.

All of the breakfasts have something unique about them in terms of the menu so you won't feel like you're eating the same thing every morning (yummy potatoes at Akershus, puffed french toast at CP). :)

It is probably not too late to make changes or add if you need to (I had to change at the last minute and had no problems). There is also a breakfast at O'Hana with Lilo & Stitch (I think) if you wanted to see some completely different characters. :)
