Which character meal do you suggest

Which character meal would you suggest for a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl.

I am looking at the Tusker House at AK and the princesss breakfast at Epcot.

Thoughts????????????

Ooh..the Princess Breakfast at Akershus in Epcot is the best!!! The princesses come to your table..they are patient for pics and well..the meal is great and you can request more cinnamon rolls. LOL....you should totally book it! It fills up fast too! So make sure to book it at the 180 days out. And I have booked the new Tusker House one as well..it's new so I don't think anyone has been there yet. I do know that the previous one they had with Donald's Breakfastosaurus was excellent! We loved it! And the workers there (it was buffet style) where all...'TAKE SOME GRAPES AND SNACKS FOR THE KIDS BEFORE YOU GO TOO'...you can't beat that!

We like the breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana. It's family style so we aren't up at the buffet when characters are coming around. That stresses me out and getting Mom stressed out before 9 a.m. is bad idea.

We were in WDW in April this year and I agree - the princess breakfast at Norway was really fun and was probably my daughter's favorite. We were there on Easter Sunday and Cinderella was a very special guest that day. (unfortunately that meant that Sleeping Beauty was not there - and she's the reason why we went in the first place ) I have boy/girl twins who turned five the next day - my daughter loved it all and my son was fairly tolerant of it, but he probably could have skipped.

I think that Chef Mickey's is really fun - the kids loved it. The characters (Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Minnie & Pluto) spent a nice amount of time at each table and were great about me trying to get a picture where everyone was looking at the camera. We were there for breakfast and I thought that the food was good - plus it was fun going into the Contemporary on the monorail, looking around, etc.

I have 4 boys and we always have fun at Chef Mickey's for dinner. We're not big on breakfast here.

I would also suggest The Crystal Palace at MK. The characters go around to all the tables and they also parade the crowd around. It's loads of fun for all and you aren't rushed through your meal.

We just returned from our trip and we tried The Garden Grill at Epcot this year. We liked it very much. The food is typical but for a character meal we thought it was pretty good. It is served right at your table so you're not dealing with getting up and missing the characters.

The nice thing about this meal was the character interaction. They were PLENTIFUL (we saw farmer mickey, pluto, chip and dale). They came to our table numerous times and were not rushed at all. When we mentioned to Pluto that we had a great dane dog at home he got very excited and pretended to run away from us. It was great - I'd recommend it.

Two years ago we did Chef Mickey's dinner and swore we'd NEVER return. No characters, AWFUL food and just not for us.

We just returned from WDW and we did have dinner at 1900 Park Fare. We had a lot of fun. Cinderella and the Prince plus the 2 stepsisters and stepmother. Both children and adults enjoy these characters. The stepsisters and stepmother are really a blast. They are great with the children and tease adults. My son, 27, was considered AVAILABLE and the sisters wanted to marry and their mother came to approve. We had a great time. This was the best Character meal we ever had in all the years of visiting.

I love LTT for dinner. The food is good, and the characters are so cute in their colonial outfits.

I vote for Crystal Palace! It is a calm and relaxed atmosphere and you are not rushed at all. The service is the best I have ever experienced. However, some of the characters skipped our table...

That largely depend on what characters your children are drawn to.

While not having any kids of our own, we have found that Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary and Crystal Palace in MK were fabulous. CP features Pooh and friends whikle the former is obvious.

If the DD is enamored with princesses and you don't mond paying a few extra bucks, you might consider CRT but if you trip is inside of 6 months, you might have a hard time scoring the ADR.

Another vote for Garden Grill (Land pavillion, Epcot)!!
I have 2 boys and we have been to both lunch and dinner. We have gone 4 different times and have never had a bad experience. We think the food is pretty good but we definitely go for the character interaction. The characters seem to make their way around several times (at least 3, sometimes more) and they are very playful! Chip and Dale always seem extra playful and we love because he acts so silly with the kids. On our last visit we received a Dream and were the Garden Grill Family of the Day. It made our experience all that much more special. There is a picture of my boys and the gang below.​

Our family votes on Crystal Palace! It is a buffet so there is something for everyone. The food was delicious. The characters are so sweet and make a point of coming to every table and interacting with everyone at that table. Piglet was my favorite, hubby and son loved Tigger, Eeyore was adorable, and who could forget Pooh!

In our family it depends if you talk to the adults or DS's. Myself & my DH prefer Chef Mickey's b/c we like the food selection. The DS's both love 'Ohana breakfast with Lilo & Stitch b/c they both love Stitch.
