Which character dinner has the best food?

Marriage is about compromise *sigh*

DH agreed to a character meal, but would like good food. So at this point, I don't care which characters we see. Any thoughts?

We found the best food at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. DH and DS loved the prime rib and ham from the carving station and DD and I loved the pasta dishes, soups, and desserts. Something for all of us and we all loved it!
Oh - Cinderella and the mice were fun too!

I agree with 1900 Park Fare, great buffet, they have a pasta bar, roast beef, turkey and salmon...very yummy. Liberty Tree Tavern is delicious as well!

Yes, I agree with 1900 and LTT as well! I also like Crystal Palace, but I am easy to please.

Dh said 1900 park fare was his 2nd fav meal of the trip after Yachtsman. He loved the mussels, prime rib, pork, etc. He had a great time, and being able to order a Budweiser made him really happy on our first nights dinner.

WE hated LTT! We wont go back. Our service was so slow (come on, it is a set menu, get drinks bring food, shouldnt take forever!) The beef was cold, the stuffing gross. Ham was dry and all I really stomached was the mac and cheese. After an hour and half, with no drink refills we begged for the check to get out of there. We didnt bother waiting for dessert, that could have taken another hour and nothing to drink to go with it. I think this was a case he save dining plan and figured he had a tip and we could go thirsty!

I refuse to pay the price they get for sub-par food. Characters or not.

I have not done the new Character dinner at Cindy's. Have always enjoyed the food here though.

You took the words right out of my mouth...or from my fingers Number one for sure is 1900 Park Fare. But I may call Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace a tie for second.

I'm with Budbeerlady....LTT was the worst meal that I have ever had. The food was dry.....mostly starches. We ate salad and refused dessert so we could get out of there. The service was horrible.

I vote for 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace....both have good food....lots of choices....good fish and meat.

We LOVED the Liberty Tree Tavern! The food was delicious, and the service was great when we were there. Weird that so many dislike it!

We loved Chef Mickeys for Dinner. Choices and food were good and the Characters are everywhere.

Best food we had at a character buffet was without a doubt 1900 Park faire

LTT is much better at the lunch ordering from the menu than it is a the character dinner.

We had the most amazing salmon at the Crystal Palace it had a chile rub and sweet mango sauce. It was AWESOME. There were also several other good things on the menu, but the salmon stood out. Even my husband filled up on it, and he is not a salmon person.

We've only eaten dinner at Crystal Palace, and I was very happy with the food choices. If dinner is as good at 1900 Park Fare, as breakfast, I would vote for there as well.

Dinner at 1900 PF is the next thing I am going to add to our list.

Boy, I wish I had read reviews like this 4 months ago when I booked Garden Grill. That gets my vote for worst character meal.
