I am looking into character breakfasts and was wondering if the price for Cinderellas Royal Table is worth the new $31.99 price tag. It is a big difference from Mickeys breakfast or the Crystal Palace. Any thoughts as to which one is the best for the money? Thanks!

Chef Mickey's is always a lot of fun. It really depends on what characters you want to see. Pooh and the gang are over at the Crystal Palace. Of course Mickey is at Chef Mickey's with Goofy, Minnie, Pluto. I remember Donald one time in the lobby along with Goofy. It's been a long time so I'm not sure what other characters are there. See if allearsnet.com gives a breakdown of characters at the various meals.

Unless your children are really into seeing the Princesses, my take on CRT is that it's overhyped and soon to be overpriced. Chef Mickeys is also popular and a lot of fun. We've enjoyed Cape May Buffet at the BC (Goofy, Chip 'n Dale, Minnie) -- it's a little more laid-back than Chef Mickey's and the characters there seem to spend more time at each table.

We think that 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has the best character breakfast. The food always seems the freshest, they have the most selection, the characters (Pooh, Eeyore, Alice, Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter) are great, and the Grand is a lovely hotel to visit.

As for CRT, we're disappointed with the structure come February 1. We've eaten in the castle every trip for the past 4 years or so. The food is decent and the atmosphere is very nice. However, it was a stretch when it cost $90+ for breakfast for a family of 5. Come February it will be upwards of $150 for that family of 5. We won't spend that on breakfast....I don't care how many free pictures we don't want or need that they "give" us. As stated, the food is decent, but not spectacular. The atmosphere in the castle is very nice, but not that nice. The princesses are great, but they are there and gone in a hurry. I just don't see CRT as being worth the kind of money they are asking. Maybe, if you've never done it before, it might be worth doing once. There are other options for eating with the Princesses that are less costly.

Just got back and Characters at Chef Mickey's included: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Great food and great fun!
