So, which one has the best food? We are looking for a character breakfast, but we're all adults, and we're really not particular about WHICH characters, but we want good food, so which is the best one?

Thanks!

I second that! The fare at Supercalifragilistic breakfast was great and my adult son loved the interaction with the Mad Hatter. All us "grown-ups" were laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes.

...and while we love 'Ohana's and especially love Lilo & Stitch, I feel the food there is average.

Cape May, I could live off their bread pudding

"Good food at a character breakfast" is kind of an oxymoron. Some places have better food than others, but none are really good, in an absolute sense. But, since it is breakfast, you can only go so wrong.

Well, I know that we won't get a GREAT breakfast at any character meals, which was why I was asking which one had the *best* food, relatively speaking.

Last time we went to WDW, I didn't make any character meal ressies, seeing as how it was three of us adults (me, my sister, and my best friend), and while we were there, my sister was like "let's have a character breakfast!" and although we tried in vain to get in ANYWHERE at the last minute, everything was booked (not surprisingly). So, for our trip next year, I'm trying to avoid that scenario by at least booking ONE character breakfast, so we're covered. If we go, fine. If not, we'll cancel it. But I want to have ONE booked. Just in case. ;)

We've eaten at Crystal Palace, Donald's at AK and Ohana and my vote is for Ohana. I prefer my breakfast meal to be family style. I really enjoyed this meal!! Lots of fun too with Lilo and Stitch (and I'm not a big fan of the movie).

I would say Cape May Cafe has the best food. Last October the chef came up with a new way of making scrambled eggs, and everyone is commenting on it.

Cape May is definitely a contender, since we'll be staying at the Swan. It will be easy to walk over there.

Keep them coming, though! I want a good majority rule.

So far we've been to Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 'Ohana, 1900 Park Fare and CRT for breakfast. Out of those, 'Ohana was our favorite. The food was excellent and you didn't have to worry about being at the buffet if a character came around.

We really liked Tusker House in AK for breakfast. What a selection! So much good food there...we couldn't get over it. Lots of the standard breakfast foods, but also a variety of other things too. Really, really liked it.

I agree, of all the character breakfasts we have done Tusker house was definatley our favourite, the food was great and we loved the characters, it was great to see Daisy Duck :thumbsup2

Donald's Tusker House restaurant is our new favorite. Loved the food, and the character interaction.

My husband and I, no children, had a few character breakfasts, but we loved the food at Donald's Tusker House breakfast.

I discovered the joy of blintzes!

(At least, I think that is how it is spelled!)

O'hana's is good. Simple breakfast fare but good. This trip we are trying Tusker House for the first time. I'm really looking forward to it as the reviews have been good.

You just made my day. We are going there for the first time in January and I love blintzes.

I think my favorite food at a character breakfast has to be The Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus in EPCOT. Scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and other pretty normal breakfast fare but well prepared and great character interaction. Sleeping Beauty is such a hottie!

We were very disappointed with Tusker House. We loved the old Donald Breakfastasaurus and was really looking forward to the new one but it was a no go. My husband even had eggshells in his eggs which I was surprised. I thought they used powdered eggs.

Surprisingly we LOVED Chef Mickeys breakfast. The food was really good and there was a great assortment. They even have the great blintzes with two different toppings. :thumbsup2

Dude Chef Mickeys!!!!! AMAZING!!!!! I also loved Crystal palace breakfast!!!!! The puffed french toast was soooooo good!!!!

Is the breakfast at Crystal Palace a character breakfast? If so, is it Pooh & Friends? My kids are so over Pooh. :-)
