Which Carsland rides will have fast passes on opening day ?

We are gonna be there June 15-18th and wanted to have a plan of action since its gonna be crazy that weekend. Does anyone know which rides will have fast passes ?

I would go with the expectation that none will - which is entirely possible for the first days as I have heard with some rides they were not implemented or ready for whatever reason. Going in with the expectation that lines will be long and crowds will be high will most likely lower the chance of disappointment should things have bumps in the road. There could be more information closer to opening and there has been speculation of Radiator Springs Racers Fastpasses being set up in the "It's a Bug's Life" area.

Radiator Springs Racers will have FPs. And it will be a bit confusing as it appears that they will be distributed not at RSR but outside CL to help with traffic flow - near the ITTBAB ride.

we probably should go straight over there and get them because other than the various boards out there...i bet not alot of people figure that one out for a bit...might give us a head start

That gate may not let you in a 1/2 hour early. The park may have Magic Mornings on the 16th and 17th which may be available to enter through that gate but maybe not details are not known on this.

As far as those FP kiosks they are much closer from the front gate than the GCH entrance.

Well I can tell you the WORSE day and that will probably be June 15th lol. I think ANYTHING outside of that, even still super busy, will be more managable!

As far as using the GCH entrance, true, you usually do get in earlier! I was at GCH last year for the opening of ST 2 and TLM, but I didnt go until the second official day and we got in at 9:30 and the ride was already running! It took less than 10 mins to ride it the first time!

THAT said, its a bigger question mark what will happen this summer. For one thing DCA will start opening at 8 a.m. so I dont know if that means they will start letting people in at 7:30 a.m. and what will be running, etc? Also, because they are supposedly, but STILL a rumor, will start offering MM for DCA, then anyone staying at the hotels will naturally have early access. But then apparantly there will be MM just for APers for DCA on certain days soooo, thats another set of varibles if that happens no one is clear on!

But it sounds like for that weekend, none of that will happen so will have to see if the early entrance will still happen. And also DCA doesnt open until 10 a.m. on the 15th because of the ceremony but unofficially it will open closer to 9:30 if all goes to plan. So if you are going on the 15th, get there with the idea it will open at 9:30 but may not until 10! And I would say get in the GCH entrance for that because they will definitely let people through sooner than others...unless you want to see the ceremony! And yes, ITTBAB FP are closer to the gate than GCH, so thats another toss up! Decisions, decisions lol.

Lastly agree about FP! Chances are RSR wont even open the first day or opening weekend. Star Tours 2 FP was not open on opening day, but was the second day!

Eitherway, its going to be interesting to see what they do what all of this!

I thought the ceremony was going to happen for most of the day on the 14th which is why the park is closed ALL day that day? Are they going to have another one in the morning on the 15th?

The media day is on the 14th. On the 15th is a late opening for a non public ceremony.
