We're going to Disney Feb 10-17. We are a family of 5. DD 12, DD 9 and DS 6.

The best rental rates I've found are with Alamo $189.XX for a midsize SUV OR Nationals Emerald Aisle Intermediate $211.XX. I'm torn, I've only rented from National before and they've been good. Which one would you choose?

THANKS!
Kayla

We're traveling to Disney (via Tampa) in July. We're renting a car for 1 week from TPA (July 18 near midnight) to Disney area (Dolphin if National/Alamo or Disney resort area if other) on July 25 evening.

Best deal I've found for intermediate is $203.50 from National. I've used all of the contract ID's on mousesavers. Anyone know how to get it down an cheaper? Seems like others have gotten $189 or less for a week.

I've had good experiences with both. I would make a reservation at the cheapest one and periodically check back. You can always cancel and re-book if you find a cheaper deal. Last time I rented from MCO (Dec 06) I rented from Dollar for the first time and I thought they were pretty good too.

I would go with either. But the important question would be, will you be happy with an intermediate car if that's all that is on the aisle?? I've never had a problem with either company.

Will your luggage fit better into one than the other? Sometimes rental companies call cars intermediate that I would call compact. I'd poke around on their website to see what they say.
