Which cabin loop? HELP!!

I have been studying the campground map and come to the following conclusions. I hope one of you can steer me straight, because I'm pretty sure I'm wrong!

Loop 2100 is a cabin loop. Would we be able to walk to Meadows trading post, campfire and pool? We have a DS4 and DD8. I do have mobility issues, but they're improving. I'm thinking we could cut cross country, or is that a no no at FW?

If 2100 is not acceptable, how about 2500 or 2600? Which is better? We want to be relatively close to the bus stops if we can't walk to the stop near 1300, and want to be near a pool.

Or am I completely nuts, and should I just take what we get? I'm asking now because we're using Dreams Unlimited and I'd like to email her soon (I'm an obsessive planner).

It's been a while since I stayed in the cabin loops...but I did not find that any of them were really accessible to the Meadow area...which is where you will find the main pool and the Meadow trading post/ bike barn...rentals..for bikes..fishing..canoes. Also the campfire area is located near there.This is not to say you could absolutely not walk to meadow area..but it is far. You really need to use the internal bus transportation..or you could rent a golf cart...which made getting around tremendously easier. If money is not an issue...I'd highly recommend one... Especially if you have some mobility issues, and besides they are just plain fun! Of course should you happen to be driving to FW you could also bring your bikes, as this is a great way to get around. They have some available for rental also.

There is a small pool for the cabins..I don't recall which loop it is closets too....you could call FW directly, and I'm sure they could tell you. However, the small pool does not offer a life guard..or snack or aracade area. It is a pool period.

The small quiet pool near the cabins backs right up to loop 2500.

We actually were in 2500 loop in January of 2004. 2nd cabin in backed right up to the pool and laundry area, and was steps to the bus stop.
