Which BW view has the most rooms?

NOTE: I changed the subject line to hopefully better say what I'm trying to figure out. I didn't get any responses with the old subject line so I'm hoping this does the trick!

I can already tell from the recent posts that it seems like a longshot that we'll be able to move our 11/30-12/6 ressie to anything other than than our home resort (SSR) but we're still going to try. I've had good luck with the waitlist before and this time our first choice is AKV, second is BWV and third BCV. So my question is about BWV - if I remember correctly you waitlist for each view separately but maybe I'm wrong. Is there a boardwalk view that has more rooms than another and would increase our chances of switching or does it not matter? Hope that makes sense!

Hi: Hopefully, I understand what you mean. The Boardwalk view(actually overlooking the Boardwalk) rooms and "standard" view (front entrance/parking lot) views seem to go the quickest. The standard view rooms are less points; we've stayed in standard view a few times, and it is worth the point savings. The bulk of the rooms are "preferred" view (garden, pool). These are generally more available. Hope this helped.

There are not only a lot more prefered water/garden views, but they are the least popular. Easily your best shot for the waitlist.

I've been meaning to do a poll to see if there are ANY DISers that actually prefer Preferred View. It may be the most misnamed thing out there.

Yay - exactly the responses I was looking for! As long as we don't have a noisy room the view isn't important to us this time so much as the location. I'm hoping to get BWV over AKV but DH really wants AK so I at least have to try and get that first. Thanks so very much for the info - now I'll be armed and ready next Tuesday.

I've stayed in both over the last 6 months. Recently we had a BW view and I have to stay it was spectacular. We had a view of the Epcot ball from our huge balcony. We were right over the boardwalk opposite the basketball pop-a-shot game on the 2nd floor (lobby level). I don't know that its worth the extra points but it was really very nice to have. If i had the points to spare I'd request it.
