Which building should I request at GF for a Lagoon View room with a view of the Castle? Does anyone know of any specific room number that I should request?

I'm leaving tomorrow GF Lagoon view - hopefully a view of the castle. I requested (and love) Sago Cay. I understand Conch Cay has a good view of the castle also. ANybody stay in Boca Chita or Big Pine Key lagoon view? Opinions -

We stayed in Sago Cay room 5441 for our honeymoon in 2000. It's a dormer room with a king bed. High volume ceilings, but a small balcony. And if you're lying in bed, you can't see the castle. But it was great sitting out there on July 4th and watching the fireworks.

I wouldn't request a specific room #, though. Just book a lagoon view room and request a castle view. I've heard that some of the lagoon view rooms in Boca Chica are obstructed by trees. But I've never stayed in that building so I can't speak from experience.

We stayed in Boca Chica in a lagoon view room and could see the expanse of the entire lagoon from our balcony.

To our left was the Magic Kindom and the castle. We could see it change color at night :) Straight ahead were those little islands and beyond them was the Contemporary resort. To the right of the Contemporary we could see the roofs of the Wilderness Lodge buildings. To the right we could see the Polynesian resort.

We loved our room and the view :)

I've stayed in the Conch building twice and have had a direct view of the castle both times--I could lie in bed at night and see it :)

Have a great trip and enjoy the 4th watching the fireworks and eating desserts! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!! :flower:

We had lagoon view in Conch Key last summer and agree with Anne. The view was straight on and absolutely beautiful.

I also think if you book lagoon view and request (and receive) Conch Key, you will have this view. The other sides of the building have marine view and garden view rooms I believe.

::MickeyMo disneyvoice, I sent you a pm, check your messages. :wizard: Have a great trip. Our only c/o at the GF = self parking, but I did develop killer calf muscles! ;) That's a hike. And a little desolate at times, late at nite. (they had a camera for your protection, the security guy is at the entrance to the resort not at self parking other side of street behind trees).
