Hi,

We're going to Disney 10/09/09 - 01/10/09 and staying at Pop Century. Could anyone who has stayed there please tell me which building they think is best to stay in. We were thinking of requesting the 50s or 70s but have not yet fully decided.

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Lyndon :)

We stayed in 70s when we went and it was a great location - not far from the bus stops and food court but in a nice, quiet spot.

It depends what you'd rather be close to really. I'd say 70s is good for the food court and bus station and a little bit quieter than the 50s, but we stayed in the 80s and thought it was a great distance from the bus station, if a little bit far from the food court. However, having stayed in the CBR, no distance seems too far now!

We stayed in the 9o's and altho it was a walk to food court and bus stops, we loved it as very quiet and short distance from quieter pool area.

We stayed in the 50's last May and loved the area and the pool - was a bit quieter than the main one. Not too far from the busses and food court and not too noisy.

Have requested it again this time!

We stayed in thr 80's and loved it - we faced the computer pool and it was only a 2 min walk to the food court/buses by using the park next to the main car park :thumbsup2

I don't think you can go wrong with any building really.

I was going to request 60's to be close to everything, but I'm not now, as I wouldn't mind walking a bit of a distance and going past all the icons and scenery people tend to miss if they stay close to the buses. :D

Another shout for the 50's :thumbsup2 we stayed in the block with 'The Tramp' in front, facing Hourglass lake, it was a nice quiet room even though the bowling pin pool was close by we never heard much noise. Going back next year and if we decide to stay at Pop would ask for 50's block again. The top floors were good to watch the Wishes and Illuminations fireworks in the distance :)
