Can anyone please provide their past experience or suggestions on which building to request in HH? We are looking at 22, 24, and 29. Pros and cons would be appreciated. We have been to HH once before so we understand the layout of the property.
When are you going to HH? If it's at a time when the resort is at full occupancy, I wouldn't even try to request a certain building, but would try to be a little more general in my requests.
If you're going at a slow time, like in January, then your specific request may well be granted.
Just remember, there are no "bad" locations at Hilton Head!!!
hi there... we have stayed in all three of those buildings... here are my thoughts...
they are our three fave buildings of all of them! good choices here. 22 is quaint and looks over the marsh , is close to both big murgies den and the pool and when you walk out of your building there is a beautiful hammock down in the common area if i remember right. 24 is a tad closer to the pool and i think you can see the pier from the back deck which is nice . it is adjacent to community hall, 29 is past the pool and overlooks the marsh like the other two do but has the added benefit of allowing you to see broadcreek mercantile and the infamous pier as youwalk towards the action, activiites such as the campfire etc each day. we have to say for that reason, 29 wins the bid for our personal fave, but 22 and 24 are also amazing. we have always been granted one of these building numbers when we have asked. the one time we did try building 18 as a change of pace we did NOT prefer it at all. we just love being in the interior of the resort because walking through it with all the winding paths under the live oak trees is one of our greatest pleasures. there are those cool wooden garden cart like luggage carts to assist you in bringing your luggage and groceries to these insise buildings. have fun!
I would not worry about any building, and enjoy the one that is assigned to you. I have stayed in most of them and have enjoyed them all. I have also seen a person have a melt down at check in when they did not get their marsh view.
