Cause it's the summer I'm turning into a real bookworm..
I love reading but during the school year I never seem to find much time to read..well I do have loadsa of time but it always seems to be spent DISing, IMing, emailing..not reading!
So I'm gonna try and start reading more in general, even when I start school again in September.
So I thought I would start a thread where you can recommend books to each other.
I like romance so if anyone knows of any good romances then please tell me!
And if you're looking for a good book but you like a certain genre then ask away!
One book I recommend is Just Listen By Sarah Dessen! It's ammmazing!

My sig.
I'm in love with it, but the first book is Twilight, the one in my sig is the 3rd thats coming out. ;)

The Notebook & A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks... they've both been made into movies but the books are so much better

these are just some random books that i like;

clique series.
a child called it
they cage the animals at night.
the a list series.
um yeah. i cant remember any of the authors names but there amazing books. especially they cage the animals at night. its probably one of theeee best books ive ever read.

Since Harry Potter came out last night, I realize that most people won't be looking for another book about a juvenile wizard, but I strongly recommend The Bartimaeus Trilogy anyway. They're a trio of incredibly under appreciated books, because they all have great stories that are incredibly well written.

For fans of Sci-Fi, I highly recommend the Maximum Ride trilogy. As with the above stories, all three books have great plots, they're all written really well, and they're continuously humorous.

And for Fantasy fans, I recommend the Artemis Fowl series, for the same reason as the above mentioned.

Gotta love Discworld. Fantasy and humour rolled together and truly done right - definitely worth a read or two (or twenty, since the author -Terry Pratchett- was kind enough to make the series delightfully long).

He lived 15 minutes from my home in NC and my friend worked for him. Personally besides Harry Potter, hmmm, I'm big on horror books and sci-fi. Anything by H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King are awesome.

that's so cool! I think he's an amazing writer, one of the few of whom I actually seek out other books they've written. :)

Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse when it comes out on August 7th....i LOVE these books you get suspense and romance in the same book.......theyre amazing.............

Pride and Prejudice.
Revenge of the Sith. (Action filled, yet full of underlying romance.)

I love Nicholas Sparks.
A Walk To Remember, made me sob. If you think the movie is sad, well the book is a sobfest for me.
At First Sight was good as well.

I recommend, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradury.

I really enjoy the Mary Higgins Clark books, very creative. I love mysteries though.

I just read the most amazing book in only about a day...it's called The Book of Luke by Jenny O'Connell. It's incredible! It's extremely romantic, and Luke is everything you could want in a guy :)
Anyways, I cried, laughed out loud, and couldn't put it down. I totally 100% recommend it!
