I am going the first part of August with my 18 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter. I've stayed at the All Star Sports once a while back and we were put in the hoops bldg farthest away and right next to woods. As a single mom, I just would feel better if my room was not so secluded, especially if we're coming in late at night to the room. My 18 yr old is usually roaming on his own so he won't always be with me and my daughter. Which bldg would be more open but I don't want one that is considered in the preferred area. Thanks for any help and info.

If you go to allearsnet.net you can see a layout map of the resort. Keep in mind that unless you are willing to pay for the preferred, it will only be a request and no guarantee it will be fulfilled.

Ask for building 7 or 10, football section, non-preferred, its near the food court.:thumbsup2

Hi There Cindy'sCastle! Got some very good information for you about your stay! Your basic concern sounds to be wanting to be close to the pools, food court and shopping area and security. Which is "Stadium Hall." Also housing front desk/check in area. I would stay in either buildings: 1,6,7 or 10. I stayed there once back a ahile ago and we were in bldg 6. It's so close to everythng! All the bldgs I have listed above are all good and close. Disney Security does patrol the resort/parking lots 24 hrs. I do understand where your coming from tho with the wanting to feel safe and secure. Don't worry! Disney's got that covered! Have fun! If you have any questions about anything else to deal with your trips, tips or anything...please feel free to contact me! Have a Magical Stay!

Thanks for the info! I requested bldgs 7, 9, or 10. Plus requested a ground floor with it. I know there's no guarantee but it seems like they try their best to accomodate your needs. According to the map, these bldgs look to be the best. And since I'm driving in, (crazy, huh!), it would be nice to have a room close to parking.
