Which beach is better for a break?

We are thinking about taking a mid-day break at one of the 'monorail' resorts. We thought about getting a snack for the kids and a "drink" for the grown-ups and sitting on one of the beaches while they play in the sand. Which one is preferable for that - the Poly or the Contemporary? I've seen a lot about the beaches at the Poly but I don't have any info on the beaches at the Contemporary? Are they nice? Is there a snack/drink bar? Easy to get to it from the monorail with strollers, etc? Thanks. :confused3

I do not know about the beach at the CR but the one at the Poly is very nice. However, it is pretty far from the main building (Ceremonial House) where the monorail stop is. Getting down there with a stroller etc might be a chore. There is no snack bar or anything down by the beach, the closest place to get a drink etc would be the pool bar otherwise you would have to go inside to the snack bar in the Ceremonial House.

cute little boat--15 minute ride. But, you will have to fold stroller and take child out, I believe.

I find it much easier to do the other way around. (Take child out THEN fold stroller). But, whichever way you do it works for me.
