Which attraction has the best queuing area?

Now that they updated Pooh- I'd go with that one, even though it's not listed. Its really interactive, and keeps the kids busy while they wait in line

My vote would be for Tower of Terror. Once you enter those gates you are submersed in the theme of the place.

I like the new Pooh queue and the Toy Story Mania queue, even though they are not on your list. I haven't seen many pictures of the new HM queue yet, but I can't wait to see it. Of the ones on your list, Tower of Terror gets my vote.

Another vote for Tower of Terror. I will never go on the ride, but I really enjoy the queue. After that it's Everest, Pirates, Space Mountain, and Star Tours, strangely enough all rides I don't care for with the exception of Star Tours :confused3. I haven't seen the new HM queue yet, but based on the pictures it may get bumped up the list.

I have two. Both, blow your hair back with the amount of detail.

EE at AK. - The real artifacts and the aged buildings form the Himalayan region. And how about the story line?

ToT at DHS. The attention to detail once again. Kudos, to the imagineers. Especially in the basement area. From the paint being worn off the railings, to the bugs in the light fixtures from day one. It's the little things.

IMHO.

Most of the rides have wonderful queues- I love the detail in all of them!

I think EE is my favorite- with TOT a close second. I didn't realize how much detail was in the EE line until I rode without a fastpass. I never realized how much I was missing :) Amazing!

I'll have to see in a couple of weeks, but Splash Mountain is my favorite! It feels like home to me :)

I agree. :thumbsup2

best for sure is t of t just the atmosphere they create is incredible, haunted mansion and pooh are right up there though with the new interactive queues, just so cool :d

Tough one because that is the thing that makes Disney so unique, they tell a story before you even enter the ride car.

I think they do an amazing job with their queues and it makes the ride so much better.

If I had to choose one, I would have to choose ToT - everytime I am in line I find something new I had never notices before.

My least favorite........BTMRR........it feels a little too much like any other amusement park line outside of Disney.

I agree!! :goodvibes
As soon as I get in line I really feel the magic of Disney and I get so excited. The line itself is nothing TOO special, but just the feeling of being there is what I love! :rolleyes1

My personal favorite would be EE. I love the "artifacts" and pictures and how they tell you the story of the expedition. Close behind that would be ToT with the detailing in the lobby and the room where you watch the Twilight Zone.

My 2 favorites are Pirates and Haunted Mansion

Another vote for EE and ToT.

Among the older rides, I would go with Haunted Mansion.

Remember, the stretching room is really part of the queue.

Another one that I like is the waiting room show at Muppets.

I'm going to have to take the easy route here and say all of them. :goodvibes They're so different from each other!

However, if I had to pick one, I'd pick the Haunted Mansion. The moment I walk through those gates I feel a chill run up my spine. Of course, the cool new games you get to play in Space Mountain are always great ways to make the line seem shorter and the boiler room at the ToT is creepy beyond reason and Splash Mountain does have some interesting things to see...I could go on and on. :rotfl:

I like EE. Though I think they need to do more to emphasize the yeti. Either have more stuff about it on the walls/cabinets or, preferably, have it run across the roof at some point. Some sounds, shaking pipes, and steam would do a lot to liven up an excellent, but static, queue.

HM is awesome as well, seperating folks into groups before getting on the ride does a lot to heighten anticipation and adds a nice eerie chill.

Not to start a war, but the WWHP and Spiderman queues at Universal are exceptional. Spiderman in particular tells a story that sets up the entire ride, each room has lots of detail to examine or video to watch. And WWHP, well, that is just in a class by itself.
