I have to say that the attraction I miss the least is the thousand leagues below the sea... I did it when I was young at DL and as and adult at WDW and I hated it each time I tried it. I am sure I won't make alot a friends on this one, but I just never cared for it, very boring.

Alien Encounter.

if I wanted something breathing down my neck and poking me in the dark, I'd just cuddle up with the dog at night.

Alien Encounter for me too. The preshow was ok, but the main theater show just wasn't my thing at all. Hopefully Stitch will be better.

Never did 20,000 Legues (seemed like it was always under rehab whenever I went), but I've not heard that many good things from people who I knew who had been on it.

There was a Michael Jackson video that I miss even less than Alien Encounter.

Bobbi:D

The Michael Jackson 3D show--Capt. EO--was loud and not very interesting. I don't miss it either.

And I don't miss 20,000 leagues either. My nephews loved it, and on our trip to DL in 1995 I had to do it every day with them! Boring, not at all interesting.

I am afraid of heights so I sure don't miss that Skyway. My kids would be dragging me on it nowadays and I'd be terrified!

20,000 leagues. Im very sensitive to strange smells, and even tough I was just a shorty when I rode it, I remember hiding my nose in the neckline of my t-shirt:earseek:

If this ride was still in use, I would never go on it, I have this fear of the cable breaking.

I am happy to say that I am happy ALIEN ENCOUNTER is gone. :duck: I did it once and it scared the poo out of me! :scared1: It just didn't fit in the theme of Tomorrowland IMHO.
Can't wait to see Stitch when DH and I visit in 2006!:hyper2:

Food Rocks...I used to laugh, but for all the wrong reasons...

Mission to Mars, what a stupid "ride" that was! For anyone who doesn't like Alien Encounter, believe me, it was a MAJOR improvement over Mission to Mars! I was happy when AE replaced it and now I'm happy that Stitch is replacing AE. :teeth:

"Food Rocks". I only saw it on my last trip because it was my last chance to see it before they took it out. All I can say is-Good riddance!

20,000 LEAGUES!!!

I Remember going on it as a teen, and discovering right there on the ride that I suffer from Claustrophobia. What a nigtmare!

Is this the only attraction that has never been replaced?

:earsboy:

Definitely the SkyRide! Yeah, I was one of the people convinced that the cable would break while I was up there and I would fall to my death. Hate those things!! And I don't miss 20,000 leagues, but I do wish my kids had the chance to do it just once. When I was little, my mom never let us ride it (in DL) because the line was so dang slow. Now that is how I feel about the Indy Speedway. I would be a happy mommy if they got rid of that baby!! Hey, maybe that should be a new thread--What ride WOULDN'T you miss?

Hey I found it WendySleepy--great minds think alike, I guess!

Veggie, veggie, fruit, fruit. lol Need I say more?! Although to this day (18 or so years later) all I have to do is look at my sister and say that and she cracks up.
