Hello!

I have heard some rumblings that some AS resorts have poor or crowded bus transportation. Is this a fact or have some people just had some poor experiences and are opting to share? If it is a fact, of the budget resorts, which one consistently offers the best transportation?
Thanks!

As far as I know all three resorts only have one bus stop for each resort, which crowds the buses right off the bat.

I can tell you that I haven't ever stayed there but I have used there transportation. Every time I go to a water park I see 4-5 AS buses for every BC bus which is usually where I am staying (I notice this at more places then just the water parks... DTD, MK it seems this is the case everywhere but maybe not)... and usually we go from the water park to another park anyway so what we do is hop onto a AS bus and then when we get to the resort we hope on whatever bus will take us to the park we are headed too... I would say that the buses come frequently for each resort the problem is that there crowded, so I would just pick the resort which themeing is most appealing and have fun!!! I hope that you have a great trip, hey Have some extra fun for me!!!

About the only advantage you see at any AS is at Sports because it is the first resort inside the gates. If the bus is shared by all three resorts, it is usually, but not always, the first drop off as you return from the parks. The flip side to that is that after you get on to go to a park, you have to go to each of the other two resorts before hitting the road to the park.

Overall, transportation should not be a deciding factor in which AS resort you stay at. They are basically all the same.

We have had the best bus service from the All Star Sports, I hate to admit. It's the first stop when the 3 resorts share buses. So if a bus comes in empty you have a seat. If it comes in full you may have to stand till the bus reaches All Star Music but you have first access to the vacated seats.

Our personal favorite All Star is Movies. Better food court, less sports teams, cheerleaders and they don't have access to that huge football field that seems to draw kids like a magnet.

We have stayed at all three and have found the Movies to have better bus service. The Sports and Music tend to share more busses for some reason. I am baseing this on the fact that we have stayed at them during really busy times (Movies and Sports during New Year's Eve weekends, and Music during crowded months like June and July).
