My family and I are planning a trip in late January and into early February. We’ve decided to stay in a family suite at AoA but can’t decide which one to do. We have boys and girls, and they all like all three movies. I know Nemo is a little more expensive, but it’s not too much to cause us to exclude it. In your opinion, which suites are the best overall? Which one has the better decor, and, more importantly, which is in the best condition? I’ve heard of some people complaining of things looking worn out at AoA lately. Thanks!

We have stayed in Lion King and Nemo and love them both! I guess Nemo is closer to the main area unless your in the very back but the closest Lion King rooms aren't far at all. I actually preferred the views from Lion King to Nemo - woods, walking path or the lake in LK vs pool or other buildings in Nemo. I haven't noticed much wear and tear myself in any of the rooms we have been in.

The Cars suites are really nicely themed! Our choice in order of preference would be Cars, Lion King, Nemo. My DD is not a fan of the underwater theme at Nemo. The savings at the LK and Cars is a nice little bonus!!

We’ve stayed in the Cars and the Nemo suites.
We preferred the Cars suite for sure! The view was fine from both. Cars we had a lake view and Nemo we had a general view but could see Hollywood Studios fireworks.
We preferred Cars because it was so much quieter and way less busy when we left the building. The pool was a lot quieter too.
It is a slight bit of a walk to the main building but since there are less people it’s not too bad.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! We have already done the Cars suites before and really enjoyed it, so maybe we'll do it again since it seems to be a favorite for others, as well.

I have never stayed there but I think the Cars Suites look so cool - have fun
I agree with this! It's always been DH and I so we never had a need for a suite, but if I could pick one it would definitely be a Cars suite. That pool area is so cute!

Well if your priority is the buses and the food hall then stay in Nemo. Less walking.

If you want something a little quieter the cars section is nice.

Lion king has no pool.

Mermaid section is miles away. We stayed there.

If I had to pick again I'd pick cars

I'd choose Cars, the cozy cone pool is really cute and quiet and I love the Radiator Springs theme. Lion King doesn't have it's own pool. And either Lion King or Cars are an easy walk to the Big Blue (Nemo) pool. Personally, I wouldn't pay more to be in the Nemo section unless you have a big Nemo fan in your group.

Stated at Nemo suites in 2014, cars 2015. Exact same weeks you are going both times. It's tough to beat the theming of radiator springs and the cozy cone pool is awesome. Saying that, the big blue pool is the pool to swim in, it's just awesome. I mildly likes Nemo rooms more due to the bright color, mynwife felt the opposite. But in the end this is my advice. If you are at all able bodied and no one in your party has mobility issues, pick the suites that look nicest inside to you. Every single suite is inside a 5 minute walk to the food court max. 5 minutes. I've waited longer for extra ketchup at McDonald's, and walked further going through the cue at splash mountain. Plus, since all are so close you can visit the other areas. In a Nemo suite but want to make the cars, walk there. In A Nemo suite but want to see the jungle area of lion king, walk there. So in the end all that should matter is the area inside the room which you can't go see.

Cars theming is definitely the best! If you wanted to try something different I'd go for Lion King and request a room close to the amenities! IMO Nemo is not worth the extra $$.

I got used to it, but the Lion King suite colors (especially the carpet) was really hard on my eyes.
