My wife an I are booked for a DVC tour this September (about 7 weeks from now), so we were going to come down just for a weekend (2 nights).
I was thinking about staying at one of the All Star resorts, simply because they are cheap and this was not a planned trip. But then my mind plays tricks on me, making me think I should upgrade to a moderate or a more romantic setting, seeing as the kids will be staying home with grandma and this is the 1st trip my wife and I have taken alone in 9 years!
I know there's not a lot of availability, so I'm not going to be picky. What is everyone's opinion on this? And which All Star resort is better for a couple?
Here's some quick info:
Relying on Disney transportation. No luggage. Just carry-on's. No park tickets.
Arrive on a Friday late morning. Lunch as Disney Springs and do a MNSSHP.
Sleep late on Saturday, QS breakfast, late morning DVC presentation, resort hop and check out other resorts we have not been to, and a nice dinner for 2 at the end of the day.
Leave early on Sunday morning to come home.
