We are planning a trip to disney for the fall. It will be our first time staying on site and are looking at the all star resorts. Which one is the best/most fun to stay? WE are a family traveling with 2 young boys . (DS 8 and DS 1) How is the all star sports?

def. the sports! Its very nice and has many features good for young boys. Its the first of the All stars to be picked up and dropped off in the way of busses. Its really nice I know we liked it when we stayed!

have a nice trip!

I would say for your family either Movies or Sports. If your boys like Toy Story then Movies would be great! Sports is what my son picked for his birthday trip this October (he will be 11 so he is getting beyond the Toy Story thing I guess!). We stayed at Movies last October and our kids were 8 and 10 and they both loved it. Really cute theming. I see a lot of posts about bus sharing between All Stars and I know they do that but when we were there we only shared a bus once. That was coming back from MK one morning only about two hours after the park opened so nobody was going back then so it made total sense for them to run just one bus. Even with the sharing that day there was only about 8 people on the bus and 4 of them were us! I think if it is a busy time you won't necessarily have to share a bus, that was certainly our experience. One nice thing is that the All Stars are all right together so it is a piece of cake to check all three of them out and take lots of cute pictures with the icons. You can also pool hop between the three All Stars since they are sister resorts. We loved our stay at Movies last October and in fact are probably the only family alive that preferred Movies over Pop Century! Loved Pop too but missed all the dalmations and Toy Story icons!

We liked All Star Movies better, it is the newest. We have stayed at all 3 and Sports is really needs some renovations.

I agree about Sports needing updating. We stayed there last March and felt renovations were long over due. As for boys my 2 DS's loved Movies the best. If your DS's are into the Disney movies like 101 Dalmations, and ToyStory I would say Movies but if they are more sports buffs try the Sports. Either way I don't think you can go wrong. And remeber that the resorts are close enough together that you can visit any of the other AS to see the themes once you are at your chosen resort. Good luck. princess:

We have stayed at all 3 All Stars Resorts. We had a great time each time we stayed there. All Star Sports was nice because it was the first stop for the bus. DD7 preferred Movies. She is a big Disney movie fan. Also Movies has a water jet play area. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose, you'll have a great time!
