Hey,

I was wondering which airport is better to fly into? Do both of them do transfers?

Thanks!

John Wayne Airport (SNA) is super close (took us 15 minutes to drive there) and not as busy as LAX I would fly in there everytime if I could get a direct flight.

Not sure which 2 airports your talking about but I love LGB ~ I've only flown there and LAX and I'd go with LGB anytime over LAX.

there's 4 airports (well, 5, but I don't count Burbank because it's universally awful to get to and from). LAX-- 35 miles, cheap to fly into, transfers can be expensive (shuttle bus, taxi or Disneyland Express run by Grayline). SNA-- closest, 12 miles, very nice, small, but usually the most expensive, often by more than $100. Cabs are $45 flat rate, shuttle is a cheap alternative, DL Express runs here, too. Long Beach (LGB) not too far, 15 miles, often as cheap or cheaper than LAX, but fewer flights so your times are limited. Cabs are $45 flat fee also, but the shuttle costs more than from SNA, and DL Express doesn't run here. Ontario is 35 miles out, often cheaper, but kind of a pain to get to and from. Cabs and shuttles are more expensive.

That's just off the top of my head. Hope that helps!

We always fly into LGB. It is a bit further than SNA, but from SLC it is cheaper to fly into Long Beach so we have never flown into SNA. Long Beach is a very small airport but you can get in and out of there very fast, we love it!

SNA (John Wayne, Santa Ana, Orange County) is our favorite airport and the only one we use when going to socal.

So what ground transportation options are there from Long Beach Airport to the Disney Land Resort? I am considering Long Beach because Jet Blue flies there and Jet Blue is my favorite airline. I have been to WDW many, many times but have never been to DLR. Is the $45 flat rate for cab that was mentioned earlier per person?

Any info is appreciated!

The cab is a flat rate, not per person. Hope that helps! We have also taken Super Shuttle but with more than 2 people I think a cab is cheaper. You can always check out the Super Shuttle site for a quote. Plus with SS you often have to wait for others to board the shuttle and be dropped off at their hotels so a taxi is much faster. :thumbsup2

Thanks! I just booked Jet Blue to Longbeach for spring break! I am so excited! This is my first trip to Disneyland and I will be celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday! The trip will be me, daughter, and son-in-law.

I have plane tickets and park tickets, Now I just need a hotel.
