Check Long Beach too.

I think both of them have a shuttle service to Disneyland.

(And actually my flight today to SNA was not any more then my last fight to LAX!)

Not necessarily. It was cheaper from Philadadelphia than LAX (my husband is heading to the OC for a conference) - no non-stops, but much closer to his final destination, and about $200 less expensive.

My geography is the pits, so don't kmnow if this helps at all, but Southwest flights from Long Island to John Wayne are always cheaper than other NY airports to LAX. Don't know where you are flying into and changing planes, but its som ething to keep in mind.

The cheapest we could find last year was from PHL to Ontario-- the airport was really nice and it wasn't a really long drive to DL, although I'm not sure if there was a shuttle, we rented a car.
