I am about to book our airline tickets and dont' know which airport to go with? We won't have a car so is there some sort of shuttle to the PP? Both frontier and southwest have the same prices so I'm torn with who to go with out of Denver?

help please!

What are your choices? There are several airports in the area. We flew in and out of John Wayne (SNA or Orange County) and loved it. It is a smaller airport (though coming from Chicago, I guess anything is a smaller airport ;)) which means less walking and hauling. We used Super Shuttle to get to our hotel and it was about 20 minutes on the freeway. We are flying into SNA again and look forward to it. :goodvibes

Well I thought there were only the 2 choices? LAX AND SNA?

Is one closer than the other?

There's 4 airports, from closest to farthest away they are: SNA (Orange County aka John Wayne), LGB (Long Beach), LAX, and ONT (Ontario). SNA is small but nice, convenient and the transport is probably the least expensive. (there are no free hotel shuttles to DL hotels; you have to take a shuttle bus like Super Shuttle, or take a taxi, or take the DL express bus). SNA can be more expensive to fly into, though; check your flight costs. LGB is small and reasonably close, but the shuttles sometimes cost a bit more from here, and although your flights are cheaper, they're often more limited. LAX is kind of far, 35 miles, a typically big, dirty international airport, but transport via the DL Express bus is pretty reasonable. ONT is also around 35 miles, but expensive for ground transport and just not real convenient as far as flight times, traffic, etc.

HTH! :goodvibes

ok then thanks...decision made as LAX and SNA are both $796 for the 5 of us from Denver non stop.

My last two trips to Disneyland we have gone to SNA and had a great experience, however, I just booked our trip for this September and the fare to Long Beach Airport was $100 less per person with an Expedia vacation package than to SNA. I checked the driving distances from each airport to Disneyland to see how long the shuttle would take and it was about the same. So, if you are looking to save some $$ I would go with Long Beach airport.
