Which 3 Resturants??

Hi medetloff....

I debated O'hana's for our trip this year but the reviews of it seem to always be hot and cold... i hope I won't be disappointed that we passed it up.. we went with Boma instead...

Le Cellier
Tutto Italia
Ohana

Because these 3 are on our must-do list each trip! Yummy!

yes, i posted earlier.
two adult no kids.

the below is MY opinion.

before our very first trip, we saw by chance on tv an episode of some food network special about disney. It was about different kind of dining restaurants in parks and hotels.

Remember- JUST MY OPINION.

well- i had booked at the 180 day mark, yada yada.........and had booked whispering canyon cafe ....... ANYWAYS.......

we saw all the commotion, the noise and overall VERY LOUD atmosphere and looked at each other and said no freakin' way. not in a million years.
i vaulted off that couch and onto the reservation line at 8.45 pm and held and got some wonderfull, kind CM who understood my meaning of a peacefull dinner and got in to someplace else.

NO- I dont expect peace and quiet like church at disneyworld, but calamity junction just like watching The View is not hapening for us.

again, just MY opinion.

If I just had to choose 3--
1. Ohana breakfast--Favorite breakfast on property, and the best character interaction. (and i have never gone with kids.)
2. Flying Fish--Best meal and Service I've had on property.
3. Tusker House--Best buffet and lunch. (and I don't like buffets!)

If I was helping a friend plan the trip of a lifetime, my responses may be slightly different, depening on their needs.

We just got back and Kona service and quality was horrible for Dinner.

Our best meal on property was the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. Great service, fresh quality ingredients, comfortable location.

Olivia's at Old Key West was also a delight. Once again, great service, fresh ingredients, really nice lunch. The desserts were the best we had all trip. House made Key lime tart, banana bread pudding sundae....delicious desserts.

A favorite we have for buffet and more busy place, but super great for kids is the Trails End Buffet at the Ft. Wilderness Campground. all the food is the same as the hoop dee doo. Delicious, reasonably priced, good chicken ribs cornbread kinda meal.

Le Cellier -- The atmosphere, the cheese soup and the filet

Les Chefs de France -- tried this restaurant for the first time. Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the staff.

50s Prime Time--fun place for kids and adults. Love the pot roast and the desserts.

THANK YOU JeanieBlue for the great comment on Olivia's- it has been on my to do list.:goodvibes

It just got bumped up for the next trip.:thumbsup2

1900 Park Fair because yummy food and characters. Also I would choose Beirgarten because I love the pretzel bread and the other foods too.And maybe Coral Reef because I like when the fish swim by because it feels like your underwater. And thoose are my top 3 restaurant at WDW.:thumbsup2:cheer2:

We are two adults also and we love:
Flying Fish
Narcoosee's
Jiko
Sorry, these are all signature restaurants. If you want to stick to one credit meals we'd recommend:
Boma
Chefs de France
Coral Reef

In our opinion Le Cellier was good, but not great. The same for the Cali Grill. This weekend we will be trying Kouzzina, Artist's Point, and The Wave. We presently have the TiW discount card. When that expires we will be trying Il Mulino and perhaps Shula's. Have a great trip!

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering which 3 resturants you would choose for dinner and why. I'm planning a trip WDW in April and need info about resturants.

Thanks,
Daisylover :rotfl:

^^^ The answer to your question depends on several variables. Traveling party (adults only? or adults with kids?); Dining plan or no dining plan? Park hopper ticket or not? Etc.

We traveled with our children for the first time last June-July. I can only give you info. based on the restaurants we experienced.

If I had to choose only 3, it would be:

1. Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
2. Restaurant Arkeshus (dinner)
3. Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)

If my children were doing the picking, it would be:

1. Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
2. Cape Mae Cafe (breakfast)
3. Ohana's (breakfast)

We also dined at the the following places:

Coral Reef (dinner). Good halibut special and great chocolate wave dessert.
Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre (dinner). Excellent cheese burgers and milkshakes.
Tusker House (breakfast). Don't shy away from the African dishes.
Crystal Palace (dinner). We loved their cheese flan!
